Mountains have always been associated with advanced spirituality, and there is a part of this relationship that may i have to do with the adaptations made to lower oxygen.

Who has been in my workshops already know how much I like the mountain analogy. I feel honour to be able to embark a bunch of breathers to a hiking journey without leaving the room and I feel even more honoured when people share with me their visions, thoughts, realisations, emotions and feeling after a breathwork session with me.

It is certainly amazing that using certain breathing techniques we can simulate we are on the top of a mountain. When we're in such places, our brains have to adapt to this lower level of oxygen (hypoxia). This fact is kind of a revolution in the scientific side because make the understanding and the research more accesible without the need of taking people up there. This discoveries can help us learn more about how our brains cope with low oxygen, and it might lead to new ways to treat brain-related problems.

One way our brains do this is by using something called HIFs (hypoxia-inducible factors), which are like special molecules that help our brains work better with less oxygen. Among these HIFs, HIF-2 is especially important. It helps our brains in different ways, like making new blood vessels, new brain cells, and improving how our brain works, which includes things like thinking and understanding.
There's also a hormone called EPO that's really important.EPO is a hormone that your kidney makes to trigger your bone marrow to make red blood cells and it helps our brains keep working well even when there's not much oxygen around, so we don't have problems with our thinking and memory.

So, in a nutshell, this summary is all about understanding how our brains change and cope when we're in places with less oxygen, like high mountains, and how this knowledge could help us develop treatments for brain-related issues.

One of the key aspects in healing is the collective dimension. A dimension of walking together, encounters, affection and mutual learning (from the perdon who offer the tools for healing and from who wants to heal). The importance lies in the potential of the political transformation of the collective and what is connected with the current problem that we hold: the path from the pain to the health and the strength of human relationships.

The intellectual achievements of human culture evolved during a revolution based on living systems in the natural world, rather than one of rapid industrial growth and resource consumption. Now, is a time to focus on experiencing interconnectedness instead of division during the social and ecological crisis of current.

Personally I love to link any of the knowledge I offer to people with nature and the natural rhythms. A nature-focused revolution embracing humans as an integral part of the Earth’s natural systems would have instilled a deeper understanding of the wonders of the human body as a living system imbued with inner intelligence, as well as the intelligence of the non-human living world.

All healing modality’s when practiced in groups emit a sense of shared commitment and values of accountability, authenticity, compassion, generosity, integrity, respect, leadership and multicultural awareness, along with a shared vision pointing us in the direction we want to go together.

I feel very privileged to be able to teach in nature often and I feel even more privileged to have connected with you all in one way of another.

This year I learnt a lot about building a nest for my heart which has required a lot of time settling in the same place. This adventure to West Papua was a breeze that bring the scent of past nomad life mixing with unknown notes of a new territory to explore.

Living is dancing to the music of our environment , which we don't always choose. We find the rhythm and adjust the pace. We flow like water, finding new ways and places to flourish your being.

Something it is for sure, and it’s the importance of respecting cycles and the moment of pause.
It's finding balance between looking for a better version of yourself but knowing that you already have everything you need. That assumption will help you to loosen self pressure and integrate new experiences with lightness.

Every time I came back from an experience that fulfilling as this one, I remind myself how much life is offering us, and… You know?

There is nothing wrong with yearning for something greater without forgetting that there is nowhere to go. You are exactly where you need to be.

Emotional work management is crucial in order to prevent and heal disease:

🍃 TALK ABOUT YOUR FEELINGS.

Emotions and feelings that are hidden, repressed, end up in diseases such as:
gastritis, ulcers, lumbar pain, back pain and even cancer, therefore dialogue, speech, the word, is a powerful medicine and excellent therapy. Unsaid words are like a sticky poison that rotten inside you.

🍃MAKE DECISION

Indecisive people remains in doubt, anxiety, anguish. Indecision accumulates problems, concerns, aggression and they are victims of nervous and gastric diseases and skin problems. To decide it is necessary to resign, to know how to lose advantage and values to gain others.

🍃LOOK FOR SOLUTIONS

Negative people do not see solutions and increase

problems. It’s not about to be always positive but about being optimistic. Life present challenges and painful situation but optimism is about believing there is something better waiting for you. Don’t give power to the cycle of lamentation and pessimism. Negative thinking generates negative energy that turns into illness.

🍃DON’T LIVE IN APPEARANCES.

Those who hide reality pretend, pose, always want to give the impression that they are fine, want to show themselves perfect, nice. There is nothing worse for your health than living on appearances and facades, your destination is pain. You cannot lie to your own body. Honour it.

🍃ACCEPT yourself and change what is not longer serving you.

Self-rejection, lack of self-esteem, makes us executioners of ourselves. Being myself is the core of a healthy life. Those who are not accepted are
envious, jealous, imitators,

competitive, destroyers. Accept yourself, accept to be
accepted, accepting criticism, is wisdom, common sense and therapy.

🍃TRUST

Those who don't trust don't communicate, don't open up, don't relate, don't create deep bonds, don't know how to make true friendships. Distrust is a lack of faith in oneself, and in others.

🍃LAUGH as much as you can.
Good humor, laughter, leisure, joy, restore health and bring long life. The cheerful people has the gift of brightening the environment in which they live.

If you're in the "something seems to be missing" crowd, know that everyone is like that. And the biggest problem is not even knowing how to value the things we have or being too ambitious or desirous. That's how much we idealise our achievements, firmly believing that when we get there, we'll finally feel the way we want to feel.
"As soon as I buy a car", "as soon as I earn more money", "as soon as I lose 10 kilos", "as soon as I find the love of my life", "as soon as I have a child"… and so on

Life doesn't happen "as soon as". Life and true happiness happen "even if" and “even though”.
"Even though I haven't bought a car," "Even if I don't earn all the money I want "
"Even though I'm not living my dream life YET"

Even if I didn't get there, I do what I can to be happy here.

Remember you can't plant, fertilise, water, and harvest here in your life while running away from it all the time.

Think of all the projections you make for the future as a strategy to escape who and what you are in the here and now.

Swap "as soon as" for "even though" and watch the magic happen. 🌈

I've experienced two types of “awakenings “in my life to do the work I do and also to do whatever I choose to do today.

The first was the spiritual.
Discovering that our life is not just a one way trip is wonderful.
Also, We begin to understand that we don't need to base ourselves on working with something we don't like and that life can be endless and pleasurable. Spiritual awakening is liberating for our soul.

A few years later the second awakening came. A social one. When it came, it was brutal.
I realized that I was ignoring the fact that
LIVING IS “POLITICAL” and that all questions on earth have a structural origin that must be considered. That realisation supossed the burst of my bubble and it hurt like hell. But today I feel much better being who I am.

This social awakening made me see that my spirituality was distorted. For I sought knowledge in many places, in many cultures, in many ways, but I did not consider that the place where that knowledge came from should be nurtured and protected.

The ancestral and original peoples of the planet keep all the knowledge so that we can build what many call "new earth". And that is something we must honor and protect.
I started to understand that wherever I go, I need to honor the origins. I need to give my best back to the community and not just extract knowledge and go away to sell what I learned in an online course later.

Working with breathwork, studying it and using it to connect people with their true nature has helped me a lot and takes me to know better the communities that are true guardians of this wisdom. And so I want to keep doing it everywhere I go.

Giving back the knowledge that was taken from the minorities who are actually the majority.

In weeks like these, I look around me and reflect on the power of decisions. In past moments that we question our lives and wonder if there is something better for us, we decide to show ourselves that there is.
We listen ourselves, we move and we decide that it's time to love. It’s time to feel alive.

Suddenly your day looks like this: waking up loving yourself with each breath, meditating 20 meters underwater and hugging 12 people who were strangers 3 days ago. Smiling and shivering together at the bottom of a breathtaking waterfall.

Suddenly those little things that makes our hearts beat with gratitude are the only things that matter in life. You feel so lucky to be alive and you really don't know how it happened. But I guess you never will - because happiness was never something you would find. Rather it was something you were going to become.

My old life was pretty different to the one I’m living now. I wasn’t too bad living under the system and I enjoyed every single year of University. I wasn’t too bad living under the parameters of what I thought my life possibilities were.

It's interesting how life changes. There are people who need to experience a strong situation in their lives to place themselves in a position to see a perspective where change is possible: an illness, the death of a family member, an accident...

I know many of you feel comfortable enough not to change anything but uncomfortable enough to fantasize about another life.

If you have at least one chance to improve your life, do it. Science proves that people who feel good about their lives are more willing and able to help others, to have empathy and compassion.

Today's world doesn't offer us any certainty, but if we can at least be a little sure about who we are, what we are good at and what we can improve on, then there is the possibility of making this a more desirable place for us and the rest of the world.

As far as I get in my yoga practice, I get more convinced that the yogi's focus l should never be on the posture but on the breath. A bad intake of breath is like a moment wasted.

Ancient sages say that before coming to life, we gain a big bag of breath. If the breath in the bag ends, then life ends. So according to this, we would have a limited number of breaths.

Breathing deep, low and slow…. breathing less.

Breathing with awareness and using the breath wisely is like producing the medicine that will heal your body, mind and ,without sounding too woho, the spirit.

We have the secret of life under the tip of our nose the whole time.

Conscious breathing is the only way we can subtilise this dense material body and create a free flow of energy. Thus, through breathing, We come to life and realise that we are much more than painful pieces of bones, flesh and skin.

Knowing your breathing patterns allows you to know your entire inner universe. So imagine how powerful mastering those patterns would be for your life.
With the right breath, we take our life force to incredible places and thus create expansion in a level of consciousness that goes beyond the mind that usually talks too much.
Sit down.
Close your eyes.
Let your breathing be the most pleasurable silence.

The difference between solitude and loneliness is the love you have inside. It is when you feel full of yourself. And, when you finally do it, is when you can share it with others.
LOVE is what improves us and gives us fulfilment. It is the most powerful feeling that makes us leave our comfort zone and yet feel at home. It is the fuel of our passion for the things we do. It is the foundation of all our decisions.

There are no rules in love and still, is always perfect. Love always is and always be that commitment to ourselves that makes our words wiser, our encounters deeper and our perception of the world greater.

The other day I read something that said: ‘’Don’t meditate to find peace, meditate to meet reality’’ and this morning while contemplating the trees, I realised how rushing can affect out ability of appreciation.
Always chasing our dreams and the future promises we make to ourselves, it's hard to know when to stop and enjoy the view.

And the view that I have at the moment is so precious. It is a crossroad between the new things I want to plant and the taste of the harvest that I sow from the least unpleasant and cold seasons of my life.

It feels really nice just to sit and breathe in every phase we are at and celebrate uncertainty because it make us resilient. But also, celebrating the opportunity to be more graceful when navigating through it. With acceptance, kindness and empathy for your own process but also for other’s.

Remember that our phases do not define us and do not limit us.

Our phases have always prepared and enabled us.

It's really beautiful to look back and realise that. It is even more beautiful to look to the now and see the importance of being present to enjoy the person you are and the lesson behind the reality you are living today.

On the last night of our retreat we had a really beautiful breathwork session.

The fact that playing with the breath can be used as ancestral and multicultural holistic wellness and healing techniques is fascinating.

Something big and special happens when a breathwork session has transmitters and receivers, convening spaces, lifting music and a safe environment: participants are more open to new experiences and develop a deep sense of trust in their own bodies. They feel ready to heal.

In this particular case, we use deep, slow, conscious and connected breathing as a vehicle for expanding states of consciousness.

I am deeply honoured to have had the opportunity to guide this inner journey, to witness the bliss and the vulnerability, to share the tools, the key and the secret to liberation on a physical, emotional and spiritual level.

Today more than ever, I feel like I am living my dream and purpose of making people freer. It took a long time to find the way to be free myself. It has always been a very profound, revealing and renewing experience. And, among all the tools, breathwork has been the most effective and heart filled.

A reminder that a new opportunity is hidden in each breath.

The wound is not always your responsibility, but the healing process is.

Healing doesn't mean the pain never existed, or that the world is always perfect. Healing simply means that pain no longer controls your life.

To forgive is to heal.
To free yourself is to grow.

You are worthy of every moment of peace, of all tranquility and of all the good things that happen to you.

Remember that for the right eyes, your joy will not bother.
Your joy will inspire others.

For me to meet again with the references from within and to build the new world inside of me… I must first die.

Nowadays, I think I consider myself a person who is not afraid of death. Maybe my ego is afraid of death but my whatever magic is inside the flesh doesn't.
It is like a soul that made peace with death on a mountaintop vision quest once. I've seen how abundant the world is.

What dies is only a small part of who one is in total. When I die to who I am, I open myself to the greatness of all that I can become.

And that's why, in this moment of transition, of cold endings and warm beginnings in my life, that I decided to withdraw a bit, stay in my silence and connect with other energies without interference.
It is in solitude when I find strength in my sadhana and in the practices I consider spiritual such as painting, diving, dancing, lighting fire, merging in the woods...

I would like to give some love and attention to the art of ritualizing and sacralizing life.


Maybe nothing will change…
Maybe everything will change…
