The Betty J. Borry Breast Cancer Adventure Retreats provide adventure-based opportunities for women living after breast cancer. Participants challenge themselves physically, emotionally and spiritually finding understanding and support. They use challenge by choice activities such as ropes courses, kayaking, snowshoeing, hiking, expressive and healing arts to create a supportive, inclusive, invigorating environment. The North of Boston Cancer Resource organization is doing a fundraiser!! The funds raised will go to help people affected by cancer receive important supportive services free of charge through the NBCR Gift Certificate program. These services include oncology massage, acupuncture, reiki, yoga therapy, guided imagery, nutrition counseling, and more.

Each ticket costs $5. Prizes include gift certificates to....

1ST Place Winner: $100.00 to Loretta's and $50.00 to Interlocks
2nd Place Winner: $50.00 to Metzy's

Yoga and Cancer offers free weekly yoga classes in the Seacoast of NH and Southern Maine for anyone who has had a cancer diagnosis. Participants will experience specialized yoga taught by trained teachers to support anyone who is newly diagnosed, in cancer treatment or surgical recovery. Classes welcome primary caregivers and anyone in recent bereavement. Please check their current schedule of classes and locations, especially through covid times.
