Hormonal balance is a focus for many women of all ages - through the menstrual years and heading into menopause.

Keeping hormones happy and balanced is a process reliant on a solid base of nutrition and healthy lifestyle - sleep, exercise, sleep etc.

Sometimes though, women are doing all the good things and still need further support. That support can come in the form of HRT, but for those who would like to go natural, Maca could be a great option.

Therapeutic benefits of Maca include hormone modulation, adaptogen (helping the body respond to stress), brain health, memory and more.

There are fascinating studies showing that taking a certain dose of quality Maca can be just as effective at relieving hormonal troubles as HRT, without side effects.

Yoga, Massage and Natural Medicine

I began my journey into Natural Health in 2008 after a nasty bout of Irritable Bowel Syndrome. I learnt of the effects of my years of a diet and lifestyle that were harming me. It was a long road during which I discovered how good it is possible to feel. My motivation stemmed from that feeling. During my travels in Latin America I was inspired by an amazing lady who lead me to my path of Yoga and Massage, and I immediately knew that it was right for me. I have always loved teaching, and after years of teaching snowboarding I was ready to take that passion into health. Learning more about physiology made me realize how much more there is to learn and I am now committed to my Advanced Diploma in Health Science to become a Naturopath. By the end of 2020 I will have hopefully gained the knowledge, experience and qualifications to be able to do what I dream of; to help people heal, mind, body and soul. Sounds cheesy but it truly comes from the heart.
