A quick dip today 🧊
My body is still recovering from a bump on the head on Thursday, so I’m moving gently and listening closely.

After an accident, the sympathetic nervous system (fight or flight) is automatically activated. The brain goes into protection mode — alert, tense, trying to keep you safe.

So I softened it.
I cooled my head with ice ❄️
I breathed slowly and consciously 🌬️
I rested 🤍

This activates the parasympathetic nervous system — the space where healing, repair, and regulation happen.

Now I’m slowly reintroducing my body and mind to stress in a safe, intentional way. Teaching my nervous system that it’s okay again. Reprogramming safety, not forcing resilience.

This is exactly the work we explore together.
