It was great to have been invited back recently to take part in a Mental Health Warriors show talking about social anxiety, to share my experiences and discuss ways of coping and strategies for overcoming it.

This topic was close to my heart as something I suffered severely for many years when younger. My fellow panelists were; Nancy Nance and Annette Chiappe.

We all know that 'Public speaking is man's greatest fear' and fear of public speaking is a type of social anxiety. That fear of speaking in front of other people, what will people think, will they like what I say, judge me or even listen to me.

My own journey has taken me from suffering from suffering severe social anxiety to joining the international public speaking organisation; Toastmasters and giving many hundreds of speeches and winning awards for speaking at events, by sharing my story and taking about what I am passionate about to inspire and empower others.
