DON'T LET DIGESTIVE PROBLEMS KEEP YOU FROM ENJOYING YOUR SUMMER! ☀️

Do you experience abdominal bloating that worsens throughout the day? This feeling, often called bloating, can affect your energy levels and your mood. Did you know it could be linked to chronic inflammation?

While inflammation can often show up as joint pain, it is also the root of many other symptoms including wreaking havoc on your digestion! Bloating can sometimes be caused by an imbalance in the trillions of bacteria living in your gut, also known as your microbiome. When these gut bugs get out of whack, it can lead to all sorts of digestive issues, including bloating.

Here's the good news! There are ways to take control and discover what's causing your bloat.

• Become a Food Journal Detective: Keeping a simple food journal can be a powerful tool. Simply keep a daily food diary to track what you eat and how you feel after each meal. This can help you identify potential food triggers that might be causing inflammation and bloating.
• Unlock the Secrets of Your Gut: Did you know there's a medically proven blood test that can help identify hidden food sensitivities that contribute to inflammation? This can be a game-changer in your journey to feeling your best!

Many of my clients have found relief using this simple tool to hone in on the specific foods triggering their symptoms.

CATCH YOURSELF BEING KIND...TO YOURSELF

Ever notice how we tend to be much harder on ourselves than we are on others?

We'll bend over backwards to make excuses for a friend's mistake, but when it comes to our own shortcomings...well, let's just say the inner critic comes out in full force!

I'm definitely guilty of this. I find myself falling into negative self-talk way too often. But you know what? I'm working on changing that!

Here's the thing: negative self-talk isn't productive.

It zaps our motivation and keeps us stuck. On the other hand, positive thinking can be super powerful. It boosts our confidence, helps us see challenges as opportunities, and keeps us moving forward.

So, here's something I do when I find myself slipping into negativity: Take a deep breath and think of something you're grateful for. It could be anything, big or small - a delicious cup of coffee, a supportive friend, a beautiful sunset. Focusing on gratitude instantly lifts your spirits and reminds you of the good things in your life.

Let's all give ourselves a little more grace, shall we? We're all human, and mistakes happen. But by catching ourselves in negative self-talk and consciously choosing a more positive perspective, we can create a happier, more fulfilling life.

Hey everyone! As an anti-inflammatory expert, I'm always looking for delicious ways to swap out processed foods for healthier options. Tonight, I'm turning roasted spaghetti squash into the base for a yummy curry 😋!

Did you know spaghetti squash is a fantastic gluten-free, low-carb alternative to pasta? It's also packed with anti-inflammatory benefits thanks to vitamin C and carotenoids.

Chronic inflammation can be a sneaky culprit behind aches and pains, fatigue, and even digestive issues. By incorporating more anti-inflammatory foods like spaghetti squash into your diet, you might see a reduction in those symptoms, especially joint pain.

Who else loves a healthy and tasty swap? Have you ever tried spaghetti squash? This recipe is so easy (I kind of made it up as I went), I'm sure you'll be hooked after giving it a go! Want to know how to make spaghetti squash?

It’s so easy to do. Drop a 🍝in the comments below and I'll send out the written recipe to you.
