I’m so grateful for my mum……she has gone above and beyond for me my whole life.

Friends! Last year I was inspired to sign up for an ultra marathon hike from Eastbourne to Arundel…. 100km (62 miles) all in one go

I wanted to do this in memory of a dear friend Jo Arscott and to raise money for a charity called CALM who help people struggling with suicidal thoughts and mental health, hoping that we can reach those that need support before it’s too late.

If you are able to I would so appreciate the support in a donation.

Please know this will be a huge challenge for me as I haven’t been training for about 7 months.

Challenge is good. It pushes us to raise our limits and break comfort zones.

When you meet somebody and you’re both your lowest, you get to see their raw absolute truth. No agenda, no expectations, no trying, no chasing……. Just a pure connection.
For so long in love I thought I needed to go above and beyond to make them want me and love me…..

It’s taken me until now to really understand the simplicity of real love. It’s natural. Your effort is matched. And you communicate about everything no matter what

Imagine being a 12 year old girl and having to share your bedroom with your newborn baby sister and your Nan…. My sister has been certified legendary from that point on….
She has been such a massive part of my understanding of self, and kept me grounded when needed.
She is an incognito tough nut…. A warrior and the best and most honest confident. Being so real with me to help me remember that I’m not alone in irrational thoughts. Reading to me as a young child, guiding me into adulthood through the best school summer holidays in Brighton where singalong musical after parties were standard.
We laugh so much…. Our silliness is on point…. We are 2 squares that make a rectangle. We are entertainers.
I’m grateful for our age gap. She has no idea how much she inspires me and how I am in awe of how she parents her children…. Nobody put as much energy, love and time into playing with their children.
Recently my beautiful big sister has been telling me how much I impact her life and how she admires me. I have always felt like the f**k up child so these words floor me every time. Especially as she is again, powering through some s**t dealt life cards again…. Like I say, legendary .
When I grow up, I hope I’m as cool as her and I hope I face adversity with her level of strength and determination.
My sweet, smart, funny as f**k, creative, resilient big sister.
You got this….. and when you feel like you haven’t, remember the globule…. If that held on, you can too!
