Gluten Free Honey Teriyaki Sauce
If you are like me, you love a good teriyaki recipe, but most teriyaki sauces are not gluten free or they are full are added sugars we are trying to avoid. But making your own teriyaki sauce can take less than 2 minutes and won’t leave you feeling guilty.
Ingredients:
1/4 low sodium, gluten free soy sauce
3 tbsp. rice vinegar
2 tbsp. honey
2-3 garlic cloves
1 tsp sriracha
1 tsp fresh ginger
Instructions:
1. Mix ingredients together ensuring honey is mixed in fully.
2. Add to meats/fish as a marinade or use as a side dipping sauce.
Alternatives to soy sauce:
- Coconut Aminos
- Bragg Liquid Aminos {Note: concentrated flavour so less is needed during recipe)
- Tamari sauce {Double check you are picking up the gluten free variety}
