Did you know Lisa at Pure Balance Osteopathy is also a Kinesiologist? While the province goes back into lockdown and unfortunately Osteopathy once again will not be allowed, Kinesiologists will be allowed to continue to practice. Kinesiology is covered under some extended healthcare packages through Sun Life, Desjardins and Canada Life. It's always best to check your coverage with your provider.

Osteopathy and Kinesiology make a great team!

Kinesiologists work with people of all ages and physical abilities to improve health and well being. Kinesiologists can be found working in several places and in private practice. Today is day💙

Here are 5 simple ways to help fight the stigma:
• Language matters – pay attention to the words you use about mental illness
• Educate yourself – learn, know and talk more, understand the signs
• Be kind – small acts of kindness speak a lot
• Listen and ask – sometimes it’s best to just listen
• Talk about it – start a dialogue, break the silence

On December 26, 2020, Ontario entered into another lockdown to combat the rising COVID-19 cases. As per the Government mandates, all unregulated health professionals must close their businesses.
As Manual Osteopathy is unregulated within Ontario, all manual osteopathic practitioners have had to close their businesses for now. The lockdown has left all patients without care for nearly a month. These patients rely on manual osteopathy to manage severe pain syndromes, visceral dysfunctions, and many other conditions that require careful attention.
Please consider signing the petition to show the Ministry of Health that manual osteopathy is essential!

475 signatures are still needed! Support for the Regulation of Manual Osteopathy in Ontario

Did you know ⁉️

Although infrared light cannot be seen to the human eye, its healing powers are astonishing. When used for therapy, infrared light can be used to treat acute or chronic pain. This method uses specific wavelengths of light to treat several pain points in the body. These wavelengths are able to pe*****te the skin to provide a greater depth of pain relief. This promotes the self-repair of cells in the body and can also improve the circulation of oxygen rich blood, which work together to better heal tissues and relieve pain. 💪🏼

The best part is, this method of therapy is painless with no side effects!
