Patient presents again with a one day history of dark (coffee ground) vomiting but no melaena. He had not used any further NSAIDs since his previous admission. He was cardiovascularly stable on admission (Pulse 60 BPM, BP 100/62 mmHg) and blood tests were as follows:
- Hb 56 g/L (was 96 a year ago ), MCV 67; Urea 6.5 (was 2.0)
He was transfused with 2 units of blood and the post transfusion Hb was 73 g/L. An urgent OGD was performed about 15 hours post admission (see video...).
