Dr.Klempic is a very talented, compassionate, kind, experienced and hard-working, Doctor of Clinical Psychology, with a background in Health and Neuropsychology. She is dedicated to providing excellent care to children, adolescence, adults and elderly around her community where she continues to offer the highest quality care and treatments. Prior to her becoming a Clinical Psychologist, she spent seven years working in the private practice setting as a Medical Assistant/Clerk. In addition, Dr. Klempic has also been on a team at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital for the past eleven years, working as a Unit Secretary on the Cardiac/Neuro Progressive Care Unit, with rotations to Ortho/Trauma, Oncology, Bariatric and Detox Units. Dr. Klempic completed her Internship at DuPage County Health Department and Fellowship in Health and Neuropsychology with focus on geriatrics at Comprehensive Counseling, PC in Lombard. Her experience is based on working with multi-ethic, culturally and economically diverse clientele in multiple settings that include: hospital, long-term care facility/nursing home, private practice and clinic. For the past 4 years, Dr. Klempic has been providing Comprehensive Neuropsychological and Psychological Evaluations, Capacity Evaluations, Individual and Family Psychotherapy to adults and elderly with multiple neurological, medical and psychological problems, such as dementia, head trauma, Parkinson's, stroke, ADHD, PTSD, depression, anxiety, etc. Currently, her clinical focus and interest is in Cardiac Psychology, Geropsychology, Health Psychology, Neuropsychology, PTSD/Trauma and Rehabilitation Psychology. Dr. Klempic is multilingual; she speaks Bosnian, Croatian, English and Serbian. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, running, traveling, cooking, music and reading.
