“In some ways suffering ceases to be suffering at the moment it finds a meaning” - Viktor Frankl

New research is finally naming what childhood cancer survivors have long known ~ that healing doesn’t end when treatment does. There remains a missing piece: how we integrate the experience live and find meaning afterward.

That’s what this upcoming gathering is about ~ and I are thrilled to be hosting a special event to explore post-traumatic growth through gentle movement, reflection, poetry, sound and community connection.

If you’re a survivor curious about healing and transformation, you’re welcome here. We greatly appreciate any support in spreading the word!

✨ Saturday, October 19 | 3–5 PM | The Grateful Den in Toronto

~Donation-based

~All proceeds support future survivor-led healing initiatives.

𝕊𝕠𝕞𝕖 𝕞𝕠𝕞𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤 𝕚𝕟 𝕝𝕚𝕗𝕖 𝕒𝕣𝕖 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 𝕥𝕙𝕒𝕟 𝕛𝕦𝕤𝕥 𝕖𝕧𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕤.

They are sacred rites of passage that mark who we are, what we’ve lived, and where we are going.

In many traditions, these thresholds are honoured with ceremony ~ a gathering of hearts, a weaving of breath, sound, and intention, so the meaning can truly sink in.

Sacred Circle is my way of bringing this back into modern life.

A ceremonial space for weddings, bachelorettes, birthdays, baby blessings, grief circles, or any life transition.

We pause. We breathe.
We honour the sacredness of the moment.

✨ Your gathering can include meditation, gentle movement, sound healing, oracle cards, sharing, and more ~ all curated to reflect the unique spirit of your milestone.

A belief is simply a thought we’ve repeated many times

When those thoughts go unquestioned, particularly those about who we are, how we should be, or what makes us lovable:

They shape how we show up
How we speak to ourselves
How much space we take up

Some of the most harmful beliefs can appear as truth
Formed in childhood
Passed down through generations
Reinforced by culture
Worn like armour

But they’re not permanent,
They’re practiced

And what’s been practiced can be unlearned
Gently
Intentionally
Together

May this be your reminder:

You are not your thoughts.
You are the awareness behind them.
And that Self is already whole 🤍

throughout my 20’s, I constantly felt like I was behind ~ relentlessly chasing a concept of myself that I thought I should be, yet always out of reach.

it took up an immense amount of energy, and left me feeling drained, disconnected & never quite enough.

my personal healing journey has been about closing that painful gap between who I am and who I thought I needed to become ~ to be accepted, to be loved, to be whole.

this is why I am excited to be co-facilitating TRUSTING SELF: Releasing Limiting Beliefs workshop with

Together, we’ll explore Carl Rogers’ concept of real vs ideal self ~ the tension between who we are, and who we think we should be, how these self-limiting beliefs keep us in a loop of inadequacy, and how we can move towards self-acceptance through somatics, sound, meditation, journaling and reflection in community.

🌱 Trusting Self | Sunday, July 27 | early bird pricing ends at the end of June 🕊️

🫂 If you are seeking 1:1 support, I offer somatic & energetic sessions in-person & online for restoration & recovery

✨ The body speaks the language of rhythm and resonance

It doesn’t just hear sound ~ it feels it.
Through vibration, tone, and rhythm, the body responds. The skin, the fascia, the fluid systems, the brain and heart all attune to frequency in ways we’re only beginning to fully understand.

Sound and movement are different tools, but they share a common purpose: to bring us back into presence, into coherence, into ourselves.

Research shows that certain frequencies used in sound healing can help shift brainwave states, calm the heart rate, and support emotional regulation.

Gentle, breath-led yoga similarly supports nervous system balance by activating the vagus nerve and inviting the body into parasympathetic (rest-and-restore) states.

That’s why I combine the two in my work ~ not as an escape, but as a way in.
To sensation. To stillness. To safety.

This photo is from a Harmony Flow class with the talented on steel pedal guitar. The music didn’t just fill the room ~ it shaped it.

We don’t need more information or effort.
We just need harmony.
And from there, something shifts ✨

🌷 You are not separate from nature. You are nature.

Earth | Air | Fire | Water | Ether
The alchemists understood that these elements don’t just exist in the world around us. They live within us, forming the very structure of our being.

In Kabbalah, the four elements correspond to the pathways of the soul. Through connecting with the elements, we find balance, wisdom, and healing. When we feel disconnected or unwell, it may be because we’ve lost harmony within our body & greater community.

Just as we tune instruments to find their resonance, we can recalibrate ourselves. Not to fix what’s wrong, but to remember what’s always been true: We are made of the same building blocks as the earth, the air, the fire, the water.
And just like nature, we can return to a state of harmony.

Healing and spiritual traditions throughout space & time point to this essential truth:
We are elemental.
We are energy.
We are already whole 🤍

My longest relationship has been with yoga.
Much longer than any romantic relationship.
My practice has been there for me through illness + trauma and provided me the tools for healing + transformation.

In a yoga studio, I was never a patient or a diagnosis. I wasn’t being examined or fixed. I wasn't a passive recipient of care.

It was the first place I developed a relationship with my body that wasn't based on disease or deficiency.

On my mat, my relationship with myself wasn’t defined by pain + isolation, but by presence within a community.
I could feel~just for a moment, at first~like I belonged to myself.

That experience changed me, and continues to every day.
And that’s why this practice is so important to me, and why I keep showing up to share it.

It’s not about the poses.
It’s about the remembering.
The reconnecting.
The healing.

☯️ We need both

We often talk about “getting better” like it’s a checkbox.

But for those living with chronic illness or the long term effects of cancer — cure can feel unreachable. And when we don’t feel better, we can feel like we’re doing something wrong.

But what if we reframed healing?

✨ Heal comes from the Old English hælan — “to make whole.”
It’s not about erasing symptoms. It’s not about perfection.
It’s about weaving the fragments of ourselves back together with gentleness and love.

🌿 Medical care can help manage the symptoms of illness.
But healing restores meaning, connection, and wholeness.

In my work, I offer a space to remember that healing is always possible. You are not broken. You are not failing. You are becoming whole.
