Self-criticism, reduced emotional resilience, feelings of guilt, shame or inadequacy, anxiety, sadness… Did you experience any of these in the last 6 months? I used to feel like this often and I thought something was wrong with me. And I was criticizing myself for it. What a loop!
Self-compassion was something hard for me to understand 15-20 years ago. I had though the chance to be introduced to it by amazing teachers and my approach to life and what it brings, completely changed.
Now, it’s my turn to give back. Together with my wonderful colleague, Jim Keating, we’ll be co-teaching our first online Mindful Self-Compassion course together. We’ll bring together our experience (personal and professional) and we are committed to teach our participants to be less hard on themselves, better handle difficult emotions, find ways to motivate themselves with kindness instead of criticism and to savor life more profoundly.
