Plant based milks run the gamut from soy milk to oat milk. They are a great option for people who can't tolerate dairy products. Of all our favorite plant based milks, oat milk is the most ecofriendly option. It is also great for people who have allergies to soy, or nuts, and those who follow a vegetarian or vegan diet.

Heart attacks happen every 40 seconds. Sadly, only 50% of people know what all the symptoms look like. It's also important to note symptoms are a bit different for women compared to men.

February is heart health month and we believe if you can recognize a heart attack you can save someone's life.

The symptoms are:
Arm/shoulder pain
Chest pain
Jaw/neck/back pain
Feeling lightheaded or weak
Shortness of breath

If you are a runner or just thinking about taking up running, going out for a run without doing a warm up is a recipe for injury. Stretching before running and doing light sprints or jogs before you get into your usual pace reduces your risk of injury. Be kind to yourself!

Looking to strenghten the muscles in your lower body and your core? Meet the Glute Bridge. Don't know how to do it, well save this vid for later to learn how to do it properly.

People sure do ❤ their vitamins. More than half of adults have taken them in an attempt to stay healthy, lose weight, gain an edge in sports. However, it is important to know some of the supplement s on the market are unnecessary and unsafe.

It is important to take supplements like vitamin D in the winter or folic acid if you are trying to get pregnant. However, It's possible to overdose even on beneficial vitamins and minerals. So avoid taking mega doses. You can find most of them naturally in fruits and vegetables.
