sometimes there is a day and you won't know the ripple effect until later. 3 generations of women side by side making cookies and sharing.
small lighted trees in each of their rooms with their baby blankets wrapped at the base,
the kitchen was covered in flour and sprinkles but the house was full of music and chatter
sometimes it feels like we are just going through the motions and sometimes it feels like time stops like a snapshot

my children will never be 3 and 7 at Christmas time again but the white lights and cookies will carry us through

people in my life I haven't seen in 30 years suddenly feel like yesterday

coming home to myself and this place healed so much more than my surface

sometimes we change in a day and sometimes we look back over a year and then see with clarity all we have gone through and how far we have come

over the last few days I have been blessed by people in my present and my past and I will cherish that love and support with me into my future

across all time and space I am right where I belong

today was so magical it felt like I was in a hallmark movie. my children bundled in hats and mittens.

sipping hot cider and cocoa on a real christmas tree farm.

We followed him into the snowy field, saw in hand until we found the perfect tree.

and now the smell of pine filling our home nestled in its stand surrounded by silver and sparkles...

so many times today I stopped and thought wow if I could tell myself to just wait because this is coming I wouldn't beleive me But she knew, she believed, she hoped, she dreamed, and she kept going when it was hard and now today in this moment all across time I stand with her and for her in this moment of bliss

This Hallmark Day smiling with so much gratitude and tears in my eyes full of a feeling that I wasn't sure was real.
