“We can understand that the final goal of meditation is to find harmony and balance, which is also the goal of Tibetan Medicine, since the balance of body, energy, and mind is the foundation of good health. How do we achieve this balance and good health? The methods are many and the process begins by getting to know ourselves. By understanding our unique physical, mental, and energetic constitution, we can learn how to best care for and heal ourselves, both spiritually and medically.
Stepping onto a spiritual path is about changing your view. Right view means the honest, organic truths of being human. It is the foundation that gives rise to compassionate creativity and altruistic responsiveness as displayed in right thought, right speech, and right action. Wrong view builds up our mental toxins of ignorance, desire, and anger as well as pride and jealousy. With wrong view, everything goes wrong—thoughts, speech, actions, all promoting negativity, conflict, strife, and stress. Right view brings long-term happiness, good health, and balance, within us and among us. And it is already present in your mind.”
