1️⃣ Acknowledge your emotions. Sadness, anger, and guilt are normal.

2️⃣ Communicate openly with your loved ones.

3️⃣ Seek emotional support from family, friends, or a grief-informed therapist.

4️⃣ Give yourself permission to take time for self-care.

5️⃣ Focus on the present, cherish the time with your loved one.

Grief is not linear! There are many ups and downs on the journey through the wilderness of grief. 🌿

Some of the emotions you may feel are:
- Numbness and detachment: You may experience a sense of emotional numbness or detachment from your surroundings and relationships.

- Guilt and regret: You may grapple with feelings of guilt over things you did or didn't do, or with regrets about the past.

- Anxiety and fear: Grief can trigger anxiety about the future and fear about coping with the loss and its consequences.

- Anger and resentment: Feelings of anger, frustration, or even rage can arise, directed at oneself, others, or even a higher power.

There is no timeline in grief. Take your time. Feel your feelings. Be active and get rest too. We are here to support you. 💖
