Established in 1994, TGH Imaging, formerly known as Tower Radiology, is one of the largest outpatient radiology practices in West Central Florida, with multiple locations throughout four counties. TGH Imaging is accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), in all imaging modalities, earning designations as a Comprehensive Breast Imaging Center and Lung Cancer Screening Center. The center

s offer specialized services in modalities such as 3D mammography, MRI, CT, PET/CT, breast biopsy, ultrasound, DEXA, X-ray, and nuclear medicine. All exam interpretations are by board-certified radiologists who hold additional certifications in imaging-focused subspecialties and participate in the academic missions of research and teaching by serving as faculty and staff for the USF Health Morsani College of Medicine in the Department of Radiology. TGH Imaging’s mission is to provide the highest-quality screening and diagnostic radiology services to patients and providers in the community within a safe, compassionate, professional and technologically advanced environment.

TGH Imaging represented the outpatient imaging division of Tampa General Hospital’s OneTGH Employer Solutions at the annual Workers’ Compensation Institute Conference in Orlando. This event attracts thousands of workers’ compensation teams from across the country.

This innovative technology enhances the MRI experience with a more patient-friendly design with ultra-light, flexible Adaptive AIR™ Coils and a spacious 70cm wide bore. The system utilizes artificial intelligence to quickly position patients, reduce scanning time, and obtain sharper images more efficiently.

With 30 years of experience, we are on a mission to upgrade our imaging equipment across all outpatient centers and hospitals. We are excited to introduce TGH Imaging’s new GE Signa 1.5T Artist Evo Wide Bore MRI at our Wesley Chapel location! Our team has worked diligently to bring this project to fruition, allowing us to offer faster and more advanced MRI technology to the community.

This innovative technology enhances the entire MRI experience with features designed for greater comfort, including a bore that is 36% wider, faster scanning times, and new blanket-like air coils that are 50% lighter than traditional coils. Additionally, it provides advanced AI support for pin sharp image quality while reducing power consumption, making it more environmentally friendly.

Our goal is to provide our patients with quick and accurate scans using the most advanced technology available, enabling us to perform a wide range of exams for our patients.
