Spiritual Animal
Honouring the Inspiration
Across many cultures around the world — including Native American, Celtic, and other Indigenous traditions — animals have long been viewed as powerful symbols of human qualities such as courage, intuition, resilience, or creativity. While these traditions are rich, specific, and culturally rooted, our workshop does not aim to recreate or represent any particular spiritual practice. Instead, we draw loosely on the universal idea that humans have always looked to animals for inspiration, guidance, and metaphor.
The Creative Activity
In this creative workshop, you will create a simple clay sculpture. Your piece does not need to be realistic — let it capture the essence or qualities that the animal represents for you personally. This may be a strength you already embody, or a trait you hope to cultivate.
This activity invites playfulness. It is not a spiritual exercise from any specific tradition, but rather a creative exploration inspired by the shared human practice of learning from the natural world.
