As a person who is constantly moving and doing, even when I'm supposed to be chilling, I know that is easier said than done! I've been talking to my community about being as intentional about scheduling moments of rest and relaxation as you are about putting work and doctor's appointments on the calendar.
Take some time and create a rest practice, and implement it by putting specific rest activities on the calendar. That could look like designating a few nap times during the week, or putting a 15 - 20 minute break on your calendar each day where you do nothing but stare off into space, meditate or sit in the park and listen to some birds sing.
Then share your plan with an accountability partner so that they can call and check up on you during the week and ask did you get to do your rest thing?
If you need some help creating a rest plan or get some help with accountability, let Terri Bailey CHATS help you with that. For a free consult visit https://TerriBaileyCreativehealingandalternativetherapies.as.me/FreeConsult
