How do you keep your blood sugar stable?

For us - we recommend and use a high fiber smoothie every morning. Our favorite powder is vegan, 3rd party tested, and has been clinically shown to stabilize blood sugar! Plus it tastes so much better than any other powder we've tried. (http://bit.ly/2swTrIB)

(My recipe: 1 scoop of Complete, 2 TB peanut butter, 1 banana, a lot of spinach, ice and almond milk - blend)

PRODUCT FIND!

I have been looking for olives that had no additives and previously I could only find them at Sprouts but that's 20ish minutes away so I rarely get them.

But today I found these beauties at the Neighborhood Walmart (I avoid the superstores) that is across the street from me!! I'm so happy!

They *look* like green olives but TASTE like black and they have just 3 ingredients:

Olives (duh)
Water
Salt

No additives like ferrus oxide.

Bonus: Non GMO. 😀

🍴Whole peeled and sliced cucumber

What Is That?!

That was my family's first reaction to this "stuff" in my salad.

This is sauerkraut. It has a bad rap and is the butt if many jokes but I'll tell ya, the right brand makes a difference. This is Wildbrine Raw sauerkraut and it's teaming with probiotics - exactly the healthy bacteria our guts need!

Pineapple core is high in bromelain - nature's best anti-cough medicine!

My own Pineapple Julius Recipe:

1) Buy a pineapple - if a center leaf pulls out easily, it's ripe.
2) But off the rough skin, keep the core.
3) Dice into large chunks.
4) Add to a blender (1/2 of the pineapple for smaller serving)
5) Add ice, water (or coconut water for extra nutrients) and just a 6) dash of natural vanilla.
7) Blend into a delicious treat that beats cough syrup for sure!
