I spent two days at home honoring the life of an amazing woman. I learned so much in two days.
-Ellen was such a bright light that the moon and the sun had to both attend.
-No family is perfect.
-I have so much love in my life.
-Home will always be Hudson, even tho I haven't lived there for 37 years.
-I need to go home more often. There are people who are important to me there.
-The smallest piece of kindness can make a HUGE impact on a child. Imagine what it can do for an adult!
- and I should probably not sit together in very serious environments. (Same with my sisters)
-I have amazing friends and family.

Ellen Kramer showed me the love and kindness as a child that I so desperately craved. I know, looking back, what a pain in the t**h I was, but she never once treated me that way. I hope that she knew how she impacted me and how she made me feel loved.

Turtle Spirit -reversed

Today, Turtle is telling us that we do not have to push this hard. It is okay to slow down for a minute and just be. We do and do and do and go and go and go. Where does that get us?
We are human beings, not human doings. Sometimes, we get so caught up in the rat race that is life that we don't remember that. Turtle is here with a reminder.
FOMO is the fear of missing out. Turtle says, "Let go of those fears." It is those fears that do the most damage. Release those fears and be a more active participant in your own life. Don't worry about what someone else is doing that you may be missing. Worry about you. Slow down and recognize what your body, mind, and soul need.

Mistakes and failures today are only paths to success. They are places we grow from. Situations that we have resistance; where the push forward and never seem to make any progress, are chances for us to step back and see what needs to change and what our expectations are.
The Universe is asking you to trust in the process, to step into the darkness with the panther on this card, and trust that all doors will be unlocked when it is time.

You are never alone. You are given a Spirit Guide before you are given a body. Along with that, other guides come in when you need them. These guides can take many forms; animal, ancestor, angel, etc. All of them bring lessons and gifts. The question that begs asking is: Are you letting them in? You have to open and accept the help. Asking isn't enough. Accepting has to play a part as well.
Close your eyes and get quiet. Imagine walking a beautiful path. Ahead, there is a bench. Have a sit. What is the view like? There is someone else coming toward your bench. Incite them to sit. Sit quietly if you would like. Ask questions if you wish to. Learn more about the energy of your Spirit Guide and how they can assist you. When done, just walk the path back and come back to yourself.

The octopus knows that not everything is easy. Our card today wants you to channel the octopus and keep going.
Whatever challenges or uncomfortable situations you have. The octopus is telling you to face those limitations and difficulties. Accept them for what they are and turn them into learning experiences for growth.

Do you ever have a day when you're just not yourself? I'm having one, and I didn't feel like pulling a card today. Instead, you are getting a photo of a cup of coffee I had in a cute little bookstore in a very small town in south central Wisconsin.
Sometimes, the weight of the day seems to be riding on you. Or maybe you just didn't sleep great. You might have questions about where you are in life.
Currently, I have something in my life that should make me very happy and something that is happening that I should be very sad about. I am neither. And THAT is what is bothering me today. Why, when it comes to these two situations, can I feel nothing? What does this say about who I am? Am I so hardened by life that I can disconnect easily? Is it a protective instinct below the surface?
I decided to write about it because I am probably not alone. I would bet that someone out there feels similarly. If we continue to work on ourselves and find these hidden or walled off areas of our psyche, then we will prevail. If we ignore them, they will grow, and we could lose ourselves to that isolated, disconnected space.
So, keep growing, keep digging, keep learning.

Many ancient cultures considered the cedar tree to be a wisdom keeper. And cedar forests were considered temples. Similar to sage, these early cultures would burn cedar at their ceremonies to clear and bless their space.
You possess the same wisdom. What you have in your arsenal is a team of Spirit Guides that also have wisdom that they share with you. In a way that doubles your amount of wisdom. Whether you are aware of them or not, your guides provide you inspiration and insight. Have you ever been surprised by something you have thought or said, and you can't quite figure out how you know that?
Part of having wisdom within us is sharing it with others and taking in what others also share. Not everything will ring true to everyone, but we can simply share and be of service to others.
Make sure that you are telling your Spirit Guides and your Divine Team, thank you for all of the wisdom that they do empower you with. Gratitude will keep those channels of Enlightenment open.
