I'm Pauline, a soon-to-be Certified holistic nutritionist and a Certified Personal Trainer. My passion for Fitness, Holistic health and Personal Development results from my own self-healing journey as I struggled with IBS, body image, emotional eating and nervous system dysregulation. I've spent the last 6+ years working assiduously to untangle the web of childhood trauma, which resulted in a vari

ety of dysfunctional coping mechanism in my adult life and a variety of gut-brain health challenges. My story

Born in France, I was raised on a farm and was very fortunate to be nourrished with fresh & local products everyday. During my childhood, I was constantly bullied at school because of my body. Along with my requests, my mom send me to multiple dietitians where I followed diets after diets. Unconsciously, I started to develop this love & hate relationship with food and within myself. In 2010, after receiving my Bachelor's degree in Hospitality & Management, I moved to the United States then to Canada. In 2016, I started my fitness journey and decided to get my certification. However I felt like I was meant for something deeper. It wasn't until I worked with a practitioner in 2018 that I learned about the importance of gut health and self-love. It was at this time that I knew I had to make a change in my life in order to pursue a path that allows me to help heal others, like me, who have been suffering in silence. My mission

I believe all diseases begin in the gut and so I am dedicated to establishing links between nutrition and digestion, with an emphasis on the physiology of mental and emotional well-being. My mission is to empower women to shift into their most powerful selves through nourishing food, improved digestion and self-care practices. I want YOU to bloom, feel beautiful, worthy, safe and supported which were all the things I didn't have growing up.

As our society teaches us not to feel and express our emotions, we then unconsciously learn how to use food to distract ourselves and not to feel.

Believe it or not, food is like a legal drug. It makes us temporary feel good but it never lasts because it doesn’t get to the deep root.

Emotions give us a message of our wounded inner self/inner child. When we start to feel fully our emotions without judgement, we start to heal.

Start slowly by noticing your emotions and behavior around food.
How do I feel right now ?
Do I feel sad, anxious, angry or unloved ?
Why do I feel this way ?
What do I need right now ?

Eating because of emotions is one of the main reasons of overeating. Rather than expressing our emotions, we tend to stuff them down with food which our bodies translate as “comfort” and “fulfillment”.

Often we don’t even truly know what we feel because we’ve buried our feeling so deeply within.

When we crave for specific foods, we seek for specific emotional connections:

☼ Chocolate 🍫 - Seeking for love
☼ Cake & pastries 🥮 - Seeking for joy, pleasure & reassurance
☼ Starch & bread 🥖 - Seeking for comfort & softness
☼ Candies 🍬 - Seeking for rewards & entertainment
☼ Dairy 🧀 - Seeking for nourishment
☼ Fatty food - Seeking for fullness
☼ Spicy food - Seeking for excitement & intensity
☼ Crunchy & salty food - Seeking for attention & relaxation

1. Garlic 🧄
It contains alliin which has shown to have anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties.

2. Turmeric
This spice contains curcuminoid which is a strong antioxidant, antiseptic and anti-bacterial. It inhibits inflammation, relieves congestion and pain

3. Spinach 🌱
Pack with vitamin A,E,K and iron - those are important nutrients for antibodies production, white cells, lymph and thymus function.

4. Ginger
Ginger is a source of paradols and other nutrients that help reduce inflammation, decrease digestive issues, and enhance immune function.
