Who are we? 💚🦂🐸

Some of you already know us personally and some just know the face of the shala and MMA gym we co-created in , nearly a year ago.

Today in our personal life we celebrate 3 sun cycles since we said ''Si, I promise'' to each other. In our ceremony of love we committed and connected ourselves to each other, through and witnessed by the elements and our incredible friends and family, for this lifetime and beyond ✨

As individuals we have had completely different life experiences to one another and our solo journeys have both been diverse, expansive, unique and full of adventures and love. Albeit in different countries, languages and forms!

However something incredibly special happened when we found each other on the Costa blanca coast of Spain. It felt like those big stepping stones we all navigate (and with or without choice, ultimately have to take), somehow gracefully, perfectly aligned.

As we shared our true selves, the light and dark, the scorpion and frog sides, our souls desires, sankalpas and intentions, it was clear there was a radiating safety and ease at which we could jump on flowingly and fluidly, over those big stepping stones, along the river, together.

Fast forward and from facilitating yoga therapy and plant medicine ceremonies and retreats, creating and running a non-profit homeschooling kids project, to moving to an entirely new part of Spain and welcoming the next generation of wild warriors... Late last year we opened a centre with some of our biggest shared passions at its heart ~ conscious connection ~ primarily through Yoga and MMA. It's been a wild and wonderful year and we are excited for the future of the Shala and Gym!

So anyway, here's to love. To connection and support, be it from your compañero, bestie, parents, kids or whoever else... Life with Love is a gift and I am so grateful we get to share what we love together, with all of you.

El 27 de julio, que es el día después del año nuevo Maya, comenzamos con sesiones semanales de yoga de los sueños en el Escorpion y la Rana. Estas sesiones serán guiadas por Caroline Lindo todos los sábados de 10:30 a 12:00.

No hay otro maestro que tu propia alma. Venga en pijama, kimonos o lo que le resulte cómodo.

Qué experimentaremos las próximas semanas en unas clases de yoga de los sueños?

Teoría:

Mi nombre es MariCarmen y hace unos años se cruzó en mi vida la bendición de la medicina de los cantos Lakota. Desde entonces he seguido enriqueciéndome de la experiencia de este camino espiritual ancestral de los indios nativos americanos, incorporando la espiritualidad del Camino Rojo en mi vida diaria.
Cada paso que doy es un paso sagrado y así como me llegaron las enseñanzas en su momento, deseo ahora poder compartir contigo la vivencia sanadora y transformadora que traen estos cantos medicina.
Mitakuye Oyasin-Por todas mis relaciones.

¿En qué consiste la actividad?
Se desarrolla en una meditación de aproximadamente 1 hora, colocándote de la forma que te sientas más a gusto y escuchando cantos Lakota. A través de estos cantos medicina Lakota, te irás adentrando en tu propia meditación e iniciando los procesos que tú ser necesita para vivir en paz.
Los cantos medicina son sagrados y utilizados de forma respetuosa, son llamados a los espíritus, que llegan para abrirte, poder escuchar lo que tu corazón desea expresar y tu alma haya venido a caminar.
Puede ser que sientas ganas de expresar tus emociones, tengas alguna visión o simplemente te traigan sosiego y paz, entendiendo que estos estados, son procesos para sanar el ser. Cada uno tiene su ritmo, así que con humildad y aceptación iremos sanando en el tiempo.

Trae tu intención, aunque si no la tienes clara del todo no te preocupes, lo que tu mente no sabe, lo sabe tu ser y hasta aquí te trajo, así que permítete escuchar tu corazón.
Cada paso es sagrado.

has always been the most enchanting, challenging, releasing, rewarding, testing, beautiful asana practice for me to experience personally and to share as a yoga teacher.
Feeling grateful to get the change share a condensed and re-vamped version of The Power of Yin ~ A Journey Within course I created and have been honoured to share around the world over the years. ✨

Through the incredible potential of connecting to the Yin within us, we can melt deeper into our true essence and for women it is a powerful gateway to connecting to our most inner Yin physically, the incredible portal of the womb. ♀️

Inspired by and her gorgeous womb yoga classes and vast knowledge, after breathing through our journey of Yin (3 part course) we will have the chance to embrace its feminine essence in harmony with our personal and the energetic cycles of la Luna 🌛🌝🌜

I have absolutely loveeeed sharing the ancient philosophy, empowering practice and so much more that is with the first group of dedicated yogis here in 🌳

Talking and more had me reminiscing on days teaching the full courses in 🇮🇳
Forever grateful for the path of yoga and all it has led me to encounter and experience, feel and see ☸️
From community halls and church classes in sunny old Stockport, to teaching back to back groups of yogis for a month at a time to becoming yoga teachers themselves.. sharing yoga has been the constant in my life while nearly everything else has changed. But that's the power of it right, to somehow keep us grounded yet ascending, through every temporary yet eternal moment. To give us the tools to find a strength from inside that we never could have imagined.. simply by having my self practice, I am here now, with a super bonita and beautiful life in and a heart full of 🙏 .. and so that is why I will forever share yoga and it's magik, in the hope of sharing a piece of that with you 🕉️

✨🌀🙏 Un mensaje para agradecer a todos los que han apoyado la Shala y el gimnasio. Gracias a cada estudiante que ha venido a una clase, taller, evento o simplemente ha pasado a saludar y felicitarnos. Estamos muy felices de haber tenido la oportunidad de crear un espacio hermoso en el corazón del pueblo. Estamos inspirados y agradecidos por los profesores y la magia que se comparte en las clases semanales y eventos especiales.

After the first month's crazy busy period, I've slowed down enough to be able to sit back a little and reflect on the fact we have transformed a building and opened a beautiful yoga Shala, thriving MMA gym, and swap shop! A combined dream of ours has come to life while also becoming new parents, moving to a new village and for me still learning the language 🙃 A moment of high 5 to us 👋 and a reminder to whoever needs to hear it - you CAN 💜
