💡 What is a 1099-R?
If you're a retiree or withdrew your account balance in 2025, your IRS 1099-R form reports how much TCDRS paid you and how much was withheld for taxes. You'll need it to file your income taxes.

📄 When will you receive it?
Your 1099-R will be posted to your online account and mailed by January 31.

💻 Prefer online only?
You can choose to receive your 1099-R electronically instead of by mail. Just update your preferences once logged in to your TCDRS.org account, or call Member Services to make the change.

📬 Multiple Accounts?
If you have payments from more than one TCDRS account, you'll receive a separate 1099-R for each.
