We have a dog honoree for the local Walk to cure. Yes dogs get Arthritis too.

Meet Tuff – Our 2025 Dog Honoree, Sponsored by Zoetis! Tuff may be small in size, but he’s big in heart—and resilience. Tuff lives with severe shoulder dysplasia, which led to a painful case of arthritis. Before finding the right treatment, he was managing his symptoms with NSAIDs. While they helped to an extent, his liver values began to elevate, and his activity levels declined.

Then came Librela—a monoclonal antibody injection for osteoarthritis. Since starting treatment over a year ago, Tuff’s liver values have returned to normal, and his energy is back! He’s once again enjoying all his favorite things: swimming in the pond, checking on the cows, and heading out to the lake.

Tuff truly is the poster pup for Librela, and he’s proud to be this year’s Dog Honoree for the Walk to Cure Arthritis – North Texas. He can’t wait to meet everyone and celebrate the power of progress—one paw at a time!
