The Women’s Circle has been selected as a charity that this event (THIS SUNDAY!) will be sponsoring! 🙏🏼✨

Organised by .thebreathingspace , this Sunday is a going to be a jam packed family friendly fun day!

There is going to be workshops, live music, stalls and much more!! 🤍

All money made from tickets for this event is being donated back into local charities & organisations, such as ourselves!

Our 2nd charity we are supporting at Joy Festival is New Chapters 💜

New Chapters has only recently opened and aims to provide affordable, long-term residential support for individuals to recover from drug and alcohol addiction.

More information in Founder Yvonne’s words below x

I started the charity due to a vision I had since running a homeless drop in for 8 years in leamington, I quickly realised the vulnerable individuals we were supporting, many of whom were from Coventry, had no idea that there was a way out, a solution, and it was called recovery. I myself am in recovery from addiction and have just got my 17 years clean from all mind altering substances, including alcohol and mine and my loved ones lives have had an absolute transformation and I wanted to give our vulnerable community the same opportunity that I had.

With all the funding being cut over the years in drug and alcohol services there were fewer and fewer beds for individuals to access. I started to put my thoughts into a business plan, got an amazing trustee board together and our journey began. It has taken the best part of 4 years and numerous set backs, individuals were still dying due to addiction, the need was so great for our service that this gave us more drive and determination to keep going, we finally opened in July, all our beds are filled and we have a long waiting list.
