Hello lovely people!

As surreal as it is to say, the holiday season and the end of 2023 are fast approaching. To accommodate multiple activities and commitments, next week will be my last week for readings until 2024. After December 14th, the office will be closed until it reopens on January 3rd. If you need a session before the holidays arrive, hop on my calendar while there's still time!

On a personal note, Christmas came early for us this year. We've adopted two orphaned kittens! They are cute, funny, and happy little boys with whom we are utterly besotted. They were born around the same time we lost our dear golden retriever Mini, so we like to imagine they are a loving goodbye gift from her. Say hello to the newest office mascots, Mickey (orangie) and Gizmo (grey and white)! Good girl, Mini 💜

Our oldest and most prominent office mascot, our golden retriever Mini, passed away on September 16th. She lived a good long life until her body couldn’t humanely carry on any longer. She was our morning, noon, and night, and we miss her deeply.

An hour ago, we found a hidden stash of squeaky tennis balls we had bought for her earlier this year. It was a tender, bittersweet reminder of her constant joy and playfulness.

If you have a dog who loves to chase and catch squeaky toys/balls, please pick up their toy and dedicate it to her memory by saying, “This one’s for Mini,” and give it a throw for your pup in her honor. She would love it, as would we.

I now live in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. For reference, my new island home is in the same time zone as Iceland. I am 1-2 hours behind mainland Europe, and 4-7 ahead of the continental US. Hey everyone!

As of this writing, the goal is to reopen the business (in a limited capacity) during the week of 18 September, 2023. I plan to release new tarot appointments within my online scheduler in the next 2 weeks, give or take (numerology charts will follow sometime afterward).

Obviously, many things have changed in my world since I shut everything down in the summer of 2022. Even as I aim to keep many things the same, there are some inevitable changes I've had to implement as I navigate my new reality and situation. Please read about them here:

Hello all! It's been a hot minute or twelve since I've posted an update. My husband and I are nearly finished with the significant transitions into our new island life. Now, I can focus on setting up the business over here. I have meetings with tax and legal professionals in the not-too-distant future, and I am brainstorming how to arrange my new office space.

Everything on the island moves slower than the mainland, so I hesitate to promise an exact relaunch date. However, please know it's on the horizon, and I will announce when it's official.

Hello all!

As you know, I’ve closed the office until 2023, but I haven’t publicly advertised why. Now that some things have been finalized, I’m able to tell you: my husband and I were finally able to pursue our dreams. We made the decision to sell our house and move overseas!

Because moving overseas is far more complicated than moving across town, I needed to pour all my energy into preparing our house for sale while my husband kept working. We’ve reduced all our belongings by nearly 95%- we’ve gone from a 5 bedroom house with two garages and a basement to half of a 9x16” storage shed, not to mention all the cleaning and repairs that needed to be accomplished for a successful sale. It’s been an extremely busy time that required 100% of my focus.

So where are we going?

The Azores Islands of Portugal! We’ve purchased a house and will be transitioning over there in several weeks.

So why am I waiting to reopen the business until 2023 if we are arriving in mid-October?

Because I don’t want to accept any money or do any financial transactions until we are in a brand new tax year. I need to educate myself about Portugal’s taxes and small business regulations.

I’m so sorry I haven’t been available. Thank you for still being here. When I resume readings, I’ll be tossing cards for you from the mid-Atlantic!
