Happy November, everybody! 🍂✨
Can’t believe it’s already November — what a rollercoaster of a year! But I can feel this month bringing so much goodness and excitement.

And the best part? I get to celebrate two of the most beautiful humans I have the privilege and pride to call my parents. 💫 Both Mom and Dad have birthdays this month — yes, I’m an Aries child raised by two Scorpios… so you can imagine the passion, the depth, and the love that fills this house!

They’ve always filled our home (even before I was born) with love, partnership, friendship, and trust. Watching them share life together — their loyalty, their laughter, their warmth — reminds me every day what true connection looks like.

I feel beyond blessed to have my mom by my side in the work we do together, walking the talk, spreading nourishment and stillness wherever we go. And my dad, always there grounding us, guiding us, and being the kind of father every child deserves.

Here’s to a month full of love, gratitude, and celebration. 🌿

Hi y’all, good morning and happy Monday! ☀️

I know I haven’t been talking a lot about food lately, but that’s about to change. I’ve really missed sharing with you all — inspiring our community to eat better, feel better, and nourish ourselves with real food, energy, and love. 💚

So today, I made something super simple:
I grabbed two handfuls of greens and spread them on a pretty plate, crumbled some triple cream cheese I had in the fridge, added a few juicy tomatoes, and topped it with two soft-boiled eggs (I’m doing ramen later, so I already had them going). I love the yolks nice and runny, but you can cook them a bit longer if you prefer.

Then I drizzled olive oil, a touch of balsamic vinegar, and a sprinkle of real salt — I always use high-quality salt, and the one from Redmond is incredible, packed with minerals that our bodies love. To finish, a spoonful of my homemade pickled onions for that little fermented kick — hello, good bacteria! 🌸

It’s a simple plate, but it covers it all: good fats, protein, fiber, amino acids, antioxidants… a whole lot of nourishment in one bowl.

Starting the week this way reminds me that healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes the simplest salad can go a long way.

4 years ago we went out for a beer for our 1st date… and 4 yrs later we are stronger than ever! Our union is beyond words and I can’t wait for our future together!! I love you baby! He doesn’t have social media… but trust me… he knows how I feel with all the touch, annoying kisses and words I share with him!

Today this handsome little punk turns 10 — and yes, I say “punk” in the most lovable way possible! Noah has embraced this gift of body awareness and movement that I never had, and I couldn’t be prouder. The way he carries himself is so inspiring.

A “bit” ago he discovered skateboarding, and watching his passion and progress has been nothing short of fantastic. On top of that, after years of capoeira, his strength and agility leave everyone speechless. Now, seeing him absolutely rip at the skate park makes my jaw drop every single time in awe!

I feel so lucky to watch him grow, to cheer him on as he does what he loves, and to be part of his journey. It’s already been an incredible ride, and I can’t wait to see what’s ahead for this gem of a guy.

Happy Birthday to this gem of a guy I get to call my brother! 🥰

Pei (yep — your nickname since I first started speaking, and it’s still going strong 🥹)… Not only do I hope every one of your dreams comes true, but I also want to say thank you — for all you’ve done, all you do, and all I know you will do for our family.

For mom and dad, for me, for your incredible badass wife, and your insanely awesome kids — you’re always showing up with love, strength, and heart.

I truly wish everyone could have a sibling like you. Honestly, it would make growing up — and parenting — so much easier!

I’m pretty sure my soul would’ve found our parents no matter what…
But I’m especially grateful that you were the one who always wished for a little sister — and here I am. And here we are.

We’ve been there for each other through it all. Sure, teenage years had their “ugh” moments, but let’s be real — we’ve done a pretty damn good job at this sibling thing!

We’ve built such a beautiful book of memories together, and I couldn’t be prouder of the man you are and all the things you’ve created — and will continue to create.

14 years ago, I received the most life-changing phone call…

A beautiful baby boy had just been born.
Mama and baby were healthy.
My heart burst open — it was as if light finally pierced the darkest chapter of my life.

At that time, I was living in Minneapolis…
Trapped in an abusive relationship.
Numbing with alcohol, drugs.
Overworking so I didn’t have to go home.
I had forgotten who I was.

But then that call came.
Without hesitation, I booked the first flight to LA to be with my brother and sister-in-law and welcome this new little soul.

And when I held him — tiny, radiant, pure —
He looked into my eyes and smiled.
Not just with his lips, but with his entire being.
And in that moment… something awakened in me.
I saw hope again.

That same week, I told my family:
“I’m leaving the marriage. I’m moving to LA.”
I chose life. I chose love. I chose healing.

Lucca didn’t just enter this world —
He brought me back to life.

You were the beginning of my rebirth.
You are joy. You are light. You are magic.

Happy 14th Birthday, Lucca!

And then there is the love of taking photos of landscapes… I mean, it is hard to get it wrong when the place and history are all over your face with their original beauty!

The bright side of being an early bird, is to be able to walk through this historical magical city when 99% of people are still sleeping and I was able to get the golden hour sun light shining through and making what is pretty already bring tears to my eyes of gratitude to be able to see something so extraordinary, 🥹!

Then I have a DEEP love for flowers, which most of you know.

As I was walking at the yesterday morning, I ran into an ocean of insanely colorful flowers from and spent some time capturing these beauties and started to talk to Tino about how incredible they were… Tino has a love for flowers as I have for food. He mentioned that he doesn’t get tired or doesn’t feel like it's work, and I totally agree and understand him on his mindset 100%. And I told him that his flowers would not look they way they do if him and his team would not have love for what they do and how they touch the ground and groom them, same with food… it can be just a basic salad, but when you toss it with energy, love and care, it turns to be this incredible nourishing food, ✨!

On my way out and sharing a sweet conversation he hands me this beautiful bouquet as an appreciation, and he was doing the bouquet as we were talking. So thoughtful, so sweet, and meaningful.

I walked away with the biggest smile on my face and grabbed next door my favorite juice: blood orange & tangerine to share with Tino and his team as a thank you!

His words: You don’t have to, and I said… You didn’t have to give me flowers either, 🤗!

This is a shot from a few weeks ago on a car gathering in Culver City, LA with my loves (my man, brother & nephew).

I have been holding on to a lot of gems and it’s time to stop the self-judgment and show off the good goods, ✌🏽!

Happy 46th anniversary to this two extraordinary couple that I have the privilege to have as parents, mentors, friends, business partners, motivating & inspiring people!

I don’t have enough words to say how happy and lucky to have chosen you both as parents!
