What is the biggest struggle?

08/01/2021

Can you stand up from your knees without getting winded?
Can you pick up your child without feeling like you aged?
Can you play with your kid without feeling like you always need to take a break?
Working out is more then just losing that postpartum weight and fitting in your college years.
It should be longevity. The long term effect.
You should not feel that you are getting old while your child is growing up.
You should not stop getting healthy while your kid is past the toddler age.
Strive to live to see your child finish college, being the CEO, getting married, having kids, watch your grand kids reach to college.
I fear not able to achieve that, my dad wasn’t able to too. And it scares the s**t out of me. He passed away with colon cancer. And the first thing the doctors told my bro and I, is you are at risk.
It’s like engraved in my head those words repeat over and over. Every F*ing day. I battle this everyday.
I strive for health. I strive for longevity. I don’t want my daughter to experience the loss of her mom at a young age.
Do this for them. Let that be your motivation.
If you are ready to take the step. Then Comment below Mama time.
Tuesday I am opening up 5 spots to our 12 week Sweaty Mommy coaching. Be on the waitlist for the early bird price.

Do you feel that you can’t find the time, because your kid has a certain nap schedule or your kid will be up during your workout, so you feel that interrupted workout doesn’t count?
You don’t have to be perfect!! You are human! We are not robots. Focus the small wins.
Some Small win examples: You use to never workout, 1 day a week is still better then never, Thats a win!!!You will slowly create those new habits.
It’s ok if you are traveling, try to find 5 mins for 4 days within the 2 weeks you are gone... It’s ok if you can’t follow the meals during travel, just learn to balance, make tiny swaps.
It’s ok if kids are in the way! We get it, we always have kids in the way, but we keep moving, you don’t need the perfect 1 hr.
It’s ok if you slipped and had a cookie. Just continue where you left off. Life is about balance…we shouldn’t restrict ourselves and deprive ourselves.
WE ARE NOT PERFECT!!! Our kids are not perfect, why should you be perfect.
Life is about adapting new habits, small changes. Think about the beginning of MARCH. We were all over the place of this Unknown. Our usual routine just collapsed..We had to get uncomfortable, we made some horrible choices, but later we learned to adjust and create a new habit, new routine.
So if you are afraid to commit because in the past you failed, you thought it was suppose to be perfect and can’t mess up. Think different this time.
We don’t have to be in this rollercoaster pattern anymore. Trust the process, focus the small wins, celebrate the small wins.
If you need a free training on time management as a mom go to the FREE FB groups link in the bio. There are other free guides too
Btw don’t forget to follow , we will be transitioning this account over there.. so I can focus on one platform;)

My vision for Sweaty Mommy started back in 2006 when I was just 23 years old—a full decade before I got pregnant. I was working at a mall in Florida and noticed moms with their strollers working out in the halls before the stores opened. I thought it was a great idea and knew whenever I had a baby I wanted to start a mommy bootcamp. At the time I didn’t know what to call it, but one day in early 2017 I was working out with Maui and said, “I’m a sweaty mommy!”

Being active with like minded moms is the best part of my day. It’s more than just a workout, it’s the bond we build with the moms and the babies.

Now I am excited for the new direction for Sweaty Mommy. Since the Covid-19 pandemic, I realized I can take the same principles and knowledge and help even more moms all around the world by providing classes 100% online. So we took the big step and went virtual! The only thing that has changed is we can’t give real “high fives” anymore…just virtual “air fives”! Moms still get the same amount of accountability and support in our community. And they still see the same results of losing postpartum weight and feeling confident in their own skin......................

🛑STOP PUTTING YOUR FITNESS GOALS ON A PEDESTAL
I see this this all the time
“I really want to lose 25lbs”
“I feel ashamed of how I look in the mirror”
“I want my husband to love the way I look”
“I want to do this for my kid and show them the healthy lifestyle”
“I want fit in my pre pregnancy jeans”
“I want to able to fit in cute clothes”
“I cry when I look at myself”
“I want to have the energy”
“I want to be fit again”
The problem is you Desire it, but you are just wishing it will just happen, you are just standing on the pedestal waiting.
When you have the opportunity to get your WANTS (Desires or goals) solved, YOU SAY
“I will wait till there is a perfect time to do it”
“it’s the holiday, it’s “BUSY” time”
“I don’t have the money right now”
“right now I am homeschooling”
“I don’t work”
and objections to yourself just keeps going.
LISTEN ..if you were on your death bed and the doc said we have to do an emergency Surgery to save your life. What would you say? I have to think about, How much is it? it’s not the right time it’s the holiday, I don’t have the money
OR
if you had cancer and the doc said I have the cure…Are you going to say I will wait till the new years, maybe next year, how much? I have to buy holiday presents first, etc…
How long do you want to feel that way? How long have you felt this way? There is soo many FREE stuff out there, why are you not taking action now? How are you teaching your kid on health? “You know Johnny your health is the last resort, but this new iPhone is a must”. Why WAIT.
Jump off that Pedestal and let’s start reaching towards your health and fitness goals.
Not sure where to start or have certain fears stopping you? I have a Free Beginner Fit guide that will help get you started from all your Objections of why you deserve this. I will guide you!!! Comment PEDESTAL!

The #1 struggle with most moms when it comes to exercise..
DRUM ROLL!!!! 🥁🥁🥁
MOTIVATION!!!
You can’t rely on Motivation to be consistent.
It’s the People that you are surrounded with, your realistic routine, the environment, your behavior. It’s really YOU that prevents you from achieving that goal. It’s your Limited beliefs.
It’s your past, your fears of repeating the past, and etc.
What helps with “MOTIVATION” is
🔶Writing out your workout plan day before.
🔶Having a Friend as your workout plan (⚠️Make sure she/he is not a flaker, bc if they cancel you will not do it, trust me from my experience)
🔶Hire a coach that is customized to your schedule and your goals
🔶Be part of a community that specializes your goals like Shameless plug
These has helped myself and my clients.
Days when I am not motivated I do my CODE ✅1 min is better then 0. Meaning do at least 1 min of working out, then skipping it that day. There are days we are human, we are not in the mood to workout. Something is better than nothing. But if you get those days, find 1 min at least. Choose 1-2 workout moves and do it for 60 sec. Or work on your weakest move like pushups or burpees. OR choose 1 mobility move OR 1 Pelvic core workout. That 1 min will make you feel way better about yourself than skipping a day. You will have a guilt trip for not working out. That 1 min may motivate you to do 5 min. So next time you are in that position of not finding 20 min of your time to workout. Then find 10 min. Break it down. 10 min the morning, 10 min lunch break.

Remember every min adds up. Taking the step to joining this program is already way better then not starting. If you focus 1 min a day for 30 days, that’s atleast 30 min of working out vs not working out for 30 days. Do you get the picture?
Next time you decide not to workout, that moment do 60 sec of something.
Hope these tips helped. If you need some more ideas. Comment below WANT, for my Free guide called ‘Fit Beginner Guide” that breaks down how to get your nutrition, mindset, workouts and other things right in a healthy and sustainable way!

NO DAYS OFF! You are never busy when it comes to your health.
I’m not going to lie my pep peeve is when people say oh i have been so busy, everyone’s term of “busy” is usually not productive, we all have 4% or even 2% of our day to fit in our health.
👉🏼What are some things that can’t do now that you wish you could?
👉🏼How would life be different for you if you met this goal?
👉🏼Imagine if you stopped having your fear of failing what would be different?
🤔THINK ABOUT THIS ...
If you're working out just 3 hours a week, that's only 3 out of 168 hours that you're spending exercising! (That's only 1.7% of your entire week!)
When you look at it like that, given how important it is for your health, and how you feel and look ...
It's probably worth shifting around a couple of things to free up 1.7% of your time.
Would you agree?

I love this quote: “If it's important you'll find a way. If it's not, you'll find an excuse.”
Here is a quick workout to do 40 sec each x3= 12 min
✅Bear hold donkey kicks (20sec each leg)
✅squat shuffle
✅front squat pulse lateral lift
✅ bear jacks
✅push-up
✅plank jack
✅repeat no rest
Only equipment you need are bands like .. don’t have any use SweatyMommy discount code for 20% off your welcome.. no excuses

Sweaty Mommy

My vision for Sweaty Mommy started back in 2006 when I was just 23 years old—a full decade before I got pregnant. I was working at a mall in Florida and noticed moms with their strollers working out in the halls before the stores opened. I thought it was a great idea and knew whenever I had a baby I wanted to start a mommy fitness meetup. At the time I didn’t know what to call it, but one day in early 2017 I was working out with Maui and said, “I’m a sweaty mommy!”

Before I got pregnant I worked with and trained numerous pregnant women, postpartum moms, and moms that thought they would never be able to get their body back. I was always fascinated and inspired by them. As their trainer, they motivated me to be better. I always told my mommy clients that because of their dedication, whenever I got pregnant I would commit to working out throughout the pregnancy. I’m happy to say I stuck to my word and worked out clear up until the day I went into labor with Maui and was back in the gym just four weeks later.

Creating the Sweaty Mommy meetup fulfilled my dream and helped give me the extra push I needed to get out of the house and make friends with other moms in the area. By working out at the beach and having adult conversations with other moms I was able to prevent postpartum depression. And by having Maui as my workout buddy I created a stronger bond with her. The effects have been incredible for me and for the other moms that have joined the group!

My mission is to inspire moms to take action and lead by setting an example for their family, friends, strangers, and most importantly, for their children to create a healthy lifestyle. It only takes one mom to help change the world!
