For over 25 years Gorayeb has successfully helped people to drop weight and quit smoking all over North America and Europe. I started offering my Weight Loss and Stop Smoking programs publicly in 1991. Since then, over one million people have attended my programs in the United States, Europe, Australia and South America. I began my career as a Chemical Engineer, working for Union Carbide, which is
about as far as you can get from being an expert on Behavior Change and the Mind-Body connection. I attended my first hypnosis course the summer after I graduated from college. That Fall I had the opportunity to attend a weekend seminar with one of the world’s leading authorities on hypnosis. He described his work and the kinds of changes he was able to effect on his clients. He demonstrated his
techniques and guided us through numerous mental processes. I decided I wanted to learn everything there was to learn about this; I altered my career path and I altered my life. The next few years I worked with an organization which taught clients how to apply hypnosis to effect positive behavior changes in their own lives. I was very good at this, I had a real aptitude for this work; eventually the company promoted me to Director. I was responsible for presenting their programs and training new instructors in their methodology. As I worked with this company, I started developing programs of my own on Stress Management, Time Management, Nutrition, Self Esteem, and Self Confidence. I also became a master practitioner of NLP (neuro-linguistic programming) and started offering programs on Communication Skills. I began presenting my programs to national corporations, including AT&T, Polygram Records, Warner Lambert, Movenpick Switzerland, and numerous regional companies. In the late 1980’s I developed my Weight Loss program to address my own weight concerns and I developed my Stop Smoking protocol as a result of a client’s request.
