Taking medications correctly helps them work the way they’re intended.

A few simple reminders:
• Take medications exactly as prescribed.
• Don’t skip doses or stop a medication without talking to your provider.
• Keep an updated list of all prescriptions, vitamins and supplements you take.
• Ask your pharmacist or provider if you have questions about side effects or interactions.

Safe medication use is an important part of protecting your overall health.

Still feeling the effects of the time change?

Daylight Saving Time can disrupt your sleep schedule, even with just a one-hour shift. You may notice changes in energy, focus or mood this week.

To help your body reset, try going to bed a little earlier, limit screen time before bed and keep a consistent wake-up time — even on weekends.

Prioritizing sleep supports both your physical and mental health.

Women’s health evolves, and so do the conversations around it. The needs of someone in her 20s or 30s aren’t the same as someone in her 50s or 70s. Regular checkups and age-appropriate screenings help ensure you’re staying informed and proactive about your health.

This Women’s History Month, take a moment to review the preventive services available to you and talk with your provider about what’s right for your age and health history.

Low vision means having trouble seeing clearly, even with glasses or contact lenses. It can make everyday things like reading, driving, or recognizing faces harder.

Low vision can happen at any age and may be caused by eye conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetes, or eye injuries.

Regular eye exams are important. Getting care early can help protect your vision and connect you with tools and support that make daily life easier. Taking care of your eyes starts with awareness.

Colder weather can bring dry air, less sunlight, and more time indoors — all of which can affect your health. A few simple habits can help you feel your best through the winter months:
- Wash your hands often to help prevent the spread of illness
- Stay active, even if it means moving indoors
- Get enough sleep to support your immune system
- Eat balanced meals and stay hydrated, even when you don’t feel as thirsty
- Schedule routine checkups and preventive care as needed

Small, consistent steps can make a big difference in staying healthy all season long.

Going meatless one day a week can support heart health and add more variety to your meals. You don’t need special ingredients, start with foods you already enjoy.

Easy tips to get started:
- Build meals around beans, lentils, eggs, or tofu
- Add extra vegetables for color and flavor
- Use herbs, spices, or sauces you already have
- Keep protein in mind to stay satisfied

Small changes can add up over time and one meatless meal is a great place to start.
