Ok, Before I get started the link above is for our Free shipping Friday Celebration the Snow be gone.

One of the Hospitals I work at is about 30 minutes from my house and It involves me having to drive up this big ridge to get there.

Anyway...back to the story.

So I knew it was going to snow and Morgan and I decided I should drive up the night before and stay in a hotel.

I was super resistant to do that because I have 4 wheel drive and I hate spending the night away from my family ( even though I knew it was the right thing to do)

It was a good thing I did listen because not even an hour after I checked into my hotel it started to sleet and snow really hard.

The roads were a mess. But I was safe.

The next morning I went to the hospital for work , roads were covered with snow, but I made it safely.

But that's not the worst of it.

You see, It continued to snow and sleet all morning.

I finished up at the hospital about 2:30 and I didn't have to work the next day and I was determined to get home.

Once I got out on to the main roads they weren't too bad.

But.....

Once I got onto the interstate I was instantly regretting my decision to try and go home.

It was the worst roads I have ever driven on in my life.

I couldn't see what was the interstate or what was the side of the road.

I had to guess based on where I saw old tire tracks from the tractor trailers.

I was sliding all over the road and only going about 15-20 miles an hours.

But I was stuck because I couldn't turn around and the next exit was a few miles up ahead.

I had to press on.

Once I got to the next exit I saw something off in the distance that I was so happy to see.

A plow truck.

They had been making a loop between that exit and the rest of the way into town.

I could see the roads up ahead and decided to proceed home.

It was so much better on those roads that I could see and actually not slide all around.

Finally I made it home,

And finally we have some nice weather this week.

I like a little snow, but nothing like the snow and cold we had all last week.

Nurse gets in a huge 100 car pileup on Ft. Worth , crawls out and still makes it to work .

Crazy.

After crawling out of the pileup that killed six people, this nurse still worked half a shift before going to a hospital for a check-up.
