Dear Mama,
The reason you feel you don’t have time is because you let your twins, significant other, and everyone else monopolize the time that was meant for you.
I know boundaries can be a dirty word for some but it really is the key to taking your dreams OFF the shelf and ACTUALLY achieving them.
Ever wonder why man caves exist? Boundaries.
I taught my kids at an early age, if my door is shut you DO NOT just waltz in.
You knock first. Then you let me INVITE you in.
You know what it taught them?
It taught them not only to respect my space but also to not be afraid to ask for and create their own space.
Listen mama, we out here breaking generational curses.
You absolutely cannot achieve anybody’s dreams without holding space for yourself.
Do you know that even Jesus got up early and would go away from all the hustle and bustle and pray?
