On the 22nd March 2017, our family received the most devastating news any family could ever dream of. My sister georgina (aged 28) had gone to the doctors after having a unusual severe headache, the GP sent her up to the Northern General Hospital for a scan.
After seeing abnormalities on the brain scan, she was then transferred to the neuro department at the Hallamshire hospital, which is where she was told she had a tumor on her brain. At this point we didn't know anything about how serious it was, whether it was cancerous or not, even how this was going to affect her life with her two children. All we was told is that that she needed brain surgery urgently due to the size tumour and to be able to carry out tests to answer our questions. As a family as close as ours, we were broken, shocked and scared 😨 😢
On the 9th May 2017, georgina underwent awake craniotomy (brain surgery while awake!), where they managed to remove 80% of the tumor. They then was able to carry out the tests on this which would allow them to find out the best way to treat the remaining 20% they had left.
Following the tests, we were told the news we had hoped for it not to be, which was that the tumour was a grade 3 anaplastic astrocytoma which is a fast growing aggressive form of brain cancer that could never be cured.
The doctors gave georgina a prognosis of 2 - 5 years and during this time they would treat her with steroids, a 6 week intense programme of radiotherapy followed by chemo therapy. We was told that we should now be thinking about the quality of georginas life rather than the quantity.
Over the course of 3 years (June 2017 - October 2020) georgina faced 6 weeks of radiotherapy and many courses of different types of chemo. This time was an emotional roller coaster. She would have scans every 3 months, some of which shown slight decreases of the tumor, some shown the tumor had remained stable and others shown the tumour had grown.
After a scan in October 2020, we received the news that the tumour had started to grow in a different direction to the original area and that this would now be harder to treat. The feelings that we all felt was unbearable.
It was at this point that we had to step into the unknown and try the 'secret treatment' .... 'CANNABIS OIL'. We had been told so many stories about how it was suppose to help cure cancer but with hardly any information online we was obviously very dubious. However the question that made the decision was... 'what else did we have to lose?' We were 1 year from the 5 year prognosis that was given, the tumour had started to grow aggressively and the fight was getting harder.
Georgina had two children who didn't deserve to loose there mum, and we as a family couldn't loose our sister, daughter, granddaughter, niece or cousin to this nasty disease!
We took the step.. went to a 'place' based in Sheffield where we met a man (who will forever be our hero!) who advised us where to look for more information on 'Rick Simpson Oil' and started georgina on a 90 day session of the oil. None of the process were what you could call easy as the excessive sleeping worried us all sick however the symptoms did ease off as her body got used to the oil .... and also bearing in mind, these effects were no where near as bad as the symptoms that came alongside chemo therapy!
To start with, georgina started on a rice grain each day then had to work her self up to 1ml per day (required dose). At around day 60, georgina was booked in for her regular scan so ahead she went.
The news that followed 4 weeks after this scan was just unbelievable! The tumor had shrunk, not just by a bit, but down to just a pen dot on the screen!! At this point we was all over the moon with the results, but also as you can imagine, in denial believing this could ever be true!! We had lived every day as though it would be our last with our sister to then be told the cancer had shrunk to just a trace was just crazy!! The doctors and nurses had always told us that this would NEVER be cured, but it very nearly had!? How could this even be true???
We wanted to be sure that this was true and so decided to wait to be absolutely certain until the next scan with took place on the 1st August.
Today, the day before georginas 32nd birthday, we have received the news that the cancer has completely gone and GEORGINA IS COMPLETELY CANCER FREE!!
None of us cannot believe we have got to this point and that we are even writing this but ...

We are sharing this post, not for sympathy or to say that this is the cure for everybody, but instead to help give people the success story which we was forever chasing when we researched the RICK SIMPSON OIL! The Rick Simpson book explains everything in depth, however not been able to find a real life success story made it less believable.
If this is to help just one other person/family then our mission is complete!
We just thank god that we had the courage to try this as no doctor will ever be able to advise to do this with it not being legalised in this country (which i find absolutely disgraceful, may I add!)
We have requested georginas medical records and scan images that will go alongside our case, and as a family we are going to work on getting our story globalised to hopefully save many more lives! ❤❤❤
