Honduras receives a great amount of medical brigades every year, which provide medical attention in some of the poorest local towns. These brigades bring with them medication, medical equipment and a medical team to help in the communities. As participants in some of these brigades we realized it is necessary to count with a local physician who knows how the health care system works in case a patient needs tests or attention in a higher level health unit, also noticing that a physician with good management of english and medical terminology makes the work easier and smoother. This is why we decided to unite and create a way to keep in touch with medical brigades and provide them our help.
