From barely moving… to back on his feet. 💪
Hunter broke his ankle, tore multiple tendons, and spent months out of work after surgery.
At first, even the smallest movements were tough. But with the right support and consistency, progress started to show — more mobility, more strength, more confidence.

Now he’s walking, lunging, and getting back to the things that matter most.
Recovery doesn’t happen overnight… but it does happen!

Planning to spend a lot of time on the couch this March? Let’s rethink that. 🏀
PT, Matt DaCosta, put together a few quick moves you can do between games to keep your body moving this month!
All you need is a little space and something heavy you can lift, in this case...his dog Chevy worked out nicely 🤣

Don’t let an injury be your March upset. 🏀
Basketball demands quick cuts, explosive jumps, and constant contact — which means ankles, knees, and backs take a hit.
Before soreness turns into something that sidelines you, take a proactive approach:
✔️ Warm up with intention
✔️ Strengthen the right muscle groups
✔️ Address small issues early
Prevention is the best defense. If something doesn’t feel right, let a PT take a look before it becomes a bigger problem.

What if addressing pain early meant fewer doctor visits?
Research shows people who start with physical therapy have significantly fewer follow-up medical visits — and often avoid more invasive treatments altogether.
Dr. Devin Trachman, PT, DPT, MTC, OCS explains why early intervention matters and how PT focuses on the root cause — not just the symptoms.
If you’re dealing with pain, don’t wait for it to snowball. Get it checked out.

From crutches to running. 💪 After tearing his meniscus, Christian couldn’t straighten his knee — and as a firefighter, that meant life and work were suddenly on pause. Six weeks non-weight bearing. No normal routine. No doing what he loves.
But step by step (literally), he rebuilt his strength. With the right plan, hands-on support, and a team that listened, he went from non-weight bearing…to running again. Physical therapy isn’t just about recovering from surgery. It’s about getting you back to your life!

🎓 Student Spotlight: Shannon Kloth
Shannon is a first-year Physical Therapy student at the University of Central Florida who’s already building a strong foundation for her future in patient care. After completing her Pre-PT program at Florida State, she’s now diving into clinical rotations and is especially excited for the outpatient setting.

Her long-term goal is to open a wellness clinic that blends physical therapy, nutrition, and holistic health to support patients in a truly comprehensive way. We’re proud to support the next generation of PTs — and excited to see all that’s ahead for Shannon! 💙

Hate running? We've got good news. 👇Try the 12-3-30 method!
12% incline. 3 mph. 30 minutes. That’s it.
This workout supports heart health while being easier on your joints — and you can scale it to your fitness level. Self-love isn’t forcing workouts you dread. It’s finding what works and doing it consistently. ❤️

Is physical therapy actually worth it? Short answer: YES. Long answer ⬇️

The start of a new year brings fresh goals…and a brand-new deductible. If you’ve been putting off aches, pain, or injuries, January is actually one of the smartest times to start physical therapy.

Here’s why 👇
• Most insurance plans reset in January, so you can use your benefits early and intentionally
• PT offers clear pricing, fewer surprises, and real conversations about your costs
• Addressing pain sooner often means fewer visits, faster progress, and avoiding bigger (and more expensive) interventions down the road
• And instead of just chasing symptoms, PT helps uncover the root cause—so issues don’t keep coming back

Waiting rarely saves money. Taking action usually does. Start your year strong. Start with PT.

APTA CSM 2026 is officially in the rearview mirror, what a ride 🚗! So many conversations about growth, mentorship, purpose, and what’s next in PT. The Confluent Health team showed up in a big way. We’re proud to be part the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), an organization that invests in the future of this profession. And a big shout-out to our Evidence In Motion (EIM) partners who were also on the floor connecting with clinicians, leading educational conversations, and advancing continuing education across the profession. 👏
See you next year, CSM!
