Want your practice to be the top-listed Clinic?
While in College. I found my passion to serve seniors. I was given the opportunity to work as a therapy tech and worked with elders that had disabilities that forced them to be in a nursing home. To be part of a team with a passion and devotion to helping the elderly receive better care by improving their quality of life, preserving their dignity, and independence was a blessing. After graduation, I joined a Long Term Care company that allowed me to enter an Administrator-In-Training program that developed a skill set which made me attentive to the needs of disabled seniors and the ability to manage environments that enrich their lives. This program taught me to be a certified nursing assistant, social worker, dietary manager, and housekeeping supervisor. I fell in love with caring for others in need
Making a difference in the lives of those that had no choice but to depend on others became my life’s ambition. I strive to provide the very best care and promote each individual’s dignity of life. I’ve been in Long Term Care now for over 20 years. I’ve run nursing homes, assisted living facilities and home healthcare companies. During that time, I have provided care to my father, grandmother and dear friends only to find that as much as we try to provide the very best to each individual, there is nothing that can compare to having them in a home environment providing individualized care.
In 2015, I was introduced to the House of Three. Koy was not only a dear friend of mine, but was also a colleague. He offered to show me how he developed the model of how we can better care for our elders that are in need. I immediately fell in love with his concept. Each home is located in a residential area and completely remodeled, modified, and staffed to meet the needs of the disabled seniors that make their home in a House of Three.
Seeing the care received by Residents within Koy’s House of Three homes reminded me why I chose to work in Long Term Care. I chose this career to take care of those that could no longer care for themselves and to provide them the dignity and independence that they deserve. I have since opened four houses of my own in NW Arkansas. Koy and I have developed a partnership that will allow additional Houses of Three to open within the state. The ability to work with the House of Three Advisory Board and to offer opportunities of investment within this company is exciting.
