👋 Let us re-introduce ourselves. We are Anthony & Skylar (plus our newest team member, Remi… name after Remote Rehab of course 🐾), the co-founders of Remote Rehab! We’re both physiotherapists based in Kelowna with a passion for making quality care accessible, no matter where you live in our province.

Anthony has special interests in sports rehab, vestibular rehab and concussion management, while Skylar focuses on vestibular and pelvic health. 💫

We also treat virtually through the ICBC Recovery Network. We’re able to support rural patients recovering from motor vehicle accidents without long drives to distant in-person clinics.

September 30th is recognized as the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and Orange Shirt Day. 🧡

At Remote Rehab, we acknowledge the Indigenous-specific racism and discrimination that the Government of Canada and Health Care Systems across the country, specifically the BC Health Care Systems as is addressed in “In Plain Sight”, has bestowed upon those Indigenous to this land.

We are committed to working towards Truth and Reconciliation at an individual and organizational level. We believe that culturally safe, sensitive and informed physio and occupational therapy is a basic right that individuals deserve in receiving care.

It is a privilege for our therapists to be able to deliver care virtually and in-person across British Columbia. Honouring and thanking those of the traditional lands we work, live and play on is a small action to work towards Truth and Reconciliation. Visit the BC Assembly of First Nations website to find which Traditional Territories and First Nations you occupy.

The “In Plain Sight” complete report can be found in the link in our bio 🔗

Meet Jas: Jasmine holds a master’s in physical therapy from UBC, graduating as part of the Northern cohort based in Prince George. Born and raised in the town of Quesnel, her upbringing instilled a deep appreciation for the outdoors, and she can often be found outside doing activities such as biking, hiking, and snowboarding. As much as she loves these activities, she is equally as passionate about helping others to find joy in movement (whether that means training for a 10k or chasing after your grand kids!)

Growing up in a small community, she also understands firsthand the challenges faced by individuals living in rural areas and is passionate about ensuring that that everyone, regardless of location, has the opportunity to receive quality healthcare.

Jasmine feels privileged to get to play a part of bridging the gap in health care in her home town community working virtually with the residents of Dunrovin Park Lodge, in Quesnel. 🌟

Meet Hailey Macleod, an Occupational Therapist (MScOT, McMaster University) from the Coast Salish Sechelt Band, born and raised in the Okanagan. Hailey will be working as a virtual OT at GR Baker Memorial Hospital, in Quesnel with Remote Rehab.

Since 2021, Hailey has been dedicated to supporting individuals of all ages, from children to elders, with a focus on ADHD, autism, mobility issues, pain, fatigue, and mental health challenges. As someone who is neurodivergent herself, she brings a unique perspective that allows her to connect deeply with families and individuals.

Her passion is inspired by the legacy of her late grandmother, Milly, whose strength, resilience, tradition and love continue to motivate her. After Milly experienced 8 years of isolation and fear in residential schools, she escaped at 16 years old with Hailey’s Grandpa to Sechelt. Hearing her stories motivates Hailey to help her local community and all BC Indigenous communities to have access to the support they deserve, working with each client towards a life that inspires them to thrive
