"Death of A Loved One, Life in a troubled area... Could this be why your BP is high?"
A Few days ago, I was conversing with a member of the Armed forces. He has been managing hypertension for a few years that started after he was sent to a particular location of the country.
In his words, " I saw my friends d:e, like someone just standing with me will just fall down."
He had nightmares, involuntary movements. Like his wife can just try to rub his cheek while he sleeps and he'll grab her hands from sleep and refuse to let go for some minutes. Real trauma and PTSD. He had to see the doctor and psychologist for a good two months to help him out with that trauma. Within that period, he developed hypertension 🥲
