It’s a Beautiful Day – The Gift of Today
Embrace today.
What do we want as human beings?
Stimulation.
Color.
Rolling emotion.
Smiles.
Laughter.
Life.
But what causes pain?
Wanting what you believe you don’t have.
The ache of lack. The shadow of “someday.”
And yet—right now—there are gifts.
Even in the clouds.
Even in the ache.
“It’s a beautiful day,” I say.
And they think I mean the weather.
But I mean this breath,
this moment,
this taste,
this sound,
this being alive.
Pain might whisper. But energy still sings.
The wind still carries the scent of possibility.
Even in soreness, there is sweetness.
Even in stillness, there is dance.
Today is the gift. Not the placeholder.
