Our Story

Our story begins in the forests of China where BioMed’s founder, Raymond Szeto, was brought up learning the art, skill, and power of wild-crafted herbs and mushrooms from his grandmother who, like those before her, passed generations of healing wisdom to her grandson.

​Carrying the belief that a life of health and joy should be accessible to all, and that the natural world should be protected, Raymond founded BioMed Balance. Through BioMed he would be able to offer the highest purity, highest potency, sustainable herbal and mushroom formulas and essential oils to the world.

​Our formulations work within the framework of the wisdom inherent in Traditional Chinese Medicine. All BioMed formulas are crafted and created using the balancing principles of Yin and Yang and work synergistically to harmonize the five elements of energy: Earth, Fire, Water, Metal and Wood to support and nurture the human body.
