My Mission
My mission is to help change the common thoughts and misconceptions on weight loss, nutrition, dieting, and overall well-being. Growing up, I always struggled with a vast amount of health issues. A lot of my problems stemmed from my diet. My household wasn't necessarily the healthiest, resorting to a ton of frozen and processed foods, fast foods and being the farthest away from a balanced diet. I was also never active as a kid, never caring to participate in sports or any type of physical activity. I was underweight, had immune deficiency disorders, Gatroparecis, Celiac Disease, Lactose Intolerant, Gallstones and stomach ulcers. By the time I got to college and moved away from home, I decided to make a major change in my life and take my health into my own hands. I started off with going gluten free, staying away from processed foods, GMO's, and going completely natural and organic. After a couple of weeks, I couldn't believe how much better I felt physically and mentally. I was obsessed with researching new ideas and recipes that made becoming healthy a seamless transition for me. Also, adding in exercise daily changed my body completely and allowed me to put on muscle so I wasn't considered underweight anymore. Eating clean and working out turned my life around completely and made me feel the most confident and strong I have ever felt in my life. This change was not short term, it is something that I have created into a lifestyle and will continue to always pursue and advance. With nutrition being my passion, I went ahead and got certified to be able to give nutritional advice and guidance for making healthy lifestyle changes and I plan to further continue my education. I also am certified in Personal Training by the National Council on Strength and Fitness. Going through these struggles and seeing how I could change my life, makes me want to help others do the same. If I can turn my whole lifestyle upside down, so can you and I would love to help you get there.
