I am a DONA Certified Postpartum Doula and a trained Birth Doula serving Calgary and surrounding areas. I pride myself on being authentic, genuine and caring.

I am a Postpartum and Birth Doula. As a mom of four children, I understand that things don't always go according to plan and that being a parent has it's challenges. I believe that having good support and plenty of resources at your disposal can make a big difference in the transitions of parenthood. I have mentored and encouraged new moms over the years, empowering them as women to gain confidenc

e in their new role especially with breastfeeding. I look forward to bearing witness to this amazing journey you are about to begin.

Did you know? Breastfeeding is a legally protected human right in Canada... that includes aquatic centres!

Parents have the right to feed their babies whenever and wherever they need to, no need to move, cover up, or stop.

There are no health or safety rules against breastfeeding in or near pools. Human milk isn’t a contaminant, it’s actually full of living substances that help protect babies from viruses and bacteria (even the kind they might encounter in pool water!).

So the next time you see a parent nursing their baby poolside or in the shallow end, remember: it’s not just normal, it’s protected, supported, and beautifully human.

Lately, I've really enjoyed going out every day for a walk in the sun with my dogs. My mood is stable, my sleep has improved, and I just feel better overall!

My youngest child is off to band camp for three days, and I'm feeling out of sorts. My anxiety is high, and I slept like garbage last night. Being a parent in general is not for the faint of heart. Being a loss parent adds even more complexities.
