Ashley is a Licensed Professional Counselor with 27 years of experience and advanced training in EMDR, a powerful therapy for healing trauma when talk therapy alone isn’t enough. He works with people who feel stuck, anxious, depressed, or burdened by past experiences that still affect their daily lives.

As a gay man happily married for 33 years, Ashley brings both professional expertise and deep personal understanding of the unique challenges LGBTQIA+ individuals often face. He creates a space where you’ll feel seen, accepted, and supported.

🚨The truth that I wasn't willing to admit...until now!

Even though I was the first generation in my family to get an advanced degree, start my own business, and move to my dream state across the country away from everyone....

I have to admit that there has always been a voice in my head telling me, "You know where you came from, why would you think you could go anywhere different?".

Because when you come from a certain background, all you believe you can do is follow orders, be an employee, and do whatever hustle is needed to survive. Seeing yourself as the owner, boss, or developer is a joke.

But that changes this week... today...NOW!

Because I know not only can I go beyond where I came from, but that there are a lot of people I could help that experience these same doubts and want to feel free from their past.

So that is my mission. This week I become the Boss and Own my mission. I have officially hired a new therapist and will be growing into a group practice!

Cause the Truth is...my background does not limit me. It Empowers Me! And I'm ready to do that for others too!

I'll share more of my story in time, but for today if you are ready to own your truth and see how much more of a positive difference can be made in your life and the lives of a LOT more people....

Taking a breathe can always help!

“5 Simple Breathing Exercises for Kids (and Parents!)”

Deep breathing is a powerful way to help kids (and parents!) calm down, focus, and manage big emotions. Try these simple exercises together:

🌬️ 1. Balloon Breaths: Imagine blowing up a big balloon. Inhale deeply through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth, pretending to fill the balloon.

🐢 2. Turtle Breaths: Breathe in slowly like a turtle pulling into its shell, hold for 3 seconds, then breathe out as if the turtle is coming back out.

🍃 3. Feather Breathing: Pretend to hold a feather in your hand. Take a gentle breath in, then blow out softly to make the feather “float.”

🌊 4. Ocean Waves: Close your eyes and imagine ocean waves. Breathe in deeply like a wave rising and exhale slowly as the wave rolls back out.

🎈 5. Bubble Breaths: Pretend you’re blowing bubbles. Take a big breath in and exhale slowly and steadily, as if creating the perfect bubble.

💡 Pro Tip: Practice these exercises daily so they become a go-to tool for moments of stress or overstimulation.
