Sometimes the most powerful thing we can do in midlife. . . .
is step away from our lives for a few hours.
Last week, a small group of women gathered at SkyPond for an Evening Away mini retreat, and the energy in the room was something special.
We moved our bodies.
We shared a nourishing dinner.
We had honest conversations about midlife, stress, hormones, and the very real changes happening in our bodies.
And maybe most importantly. . . .
We gave ourselves permission to pause.
Because so many women I work with are holding a lot right now - aging parents, career shifts, changing hormones, bodies that don’t always respond the way they used to.
Taking time away like this isn’t indulgent.
It’s necessary.
The next Embracing Midlife: Evening Away is coming April 10 and the theme will be movement in midlife - exploring what exercise looks like when “no pain, no gain” no longer makes sense. ✨
