Descendants of North Carolina Confederate Troops, CSA Genealogy research and Interaction for descendants of Confederate Veterans of North Carolina State Troops during the Civil War.

I am very interested in collecting and compiling Genealogical Information concerning North Carolina Confederate Troops, particularly (but not restricted to) soldiers who participated in the Battles of Fort Fisher, NC and other Civil War Battles. Four of my Great-Great Grandfathers fought and were Captured at the 2nd Battle of Fort Fisher, and were taken to Union Prisons. Two Grand-Uncles also suffered similar fates.
