The Emergency Medicine Residency Program at Maine Medical Center is an ACGME fully accredited program accepting 10 residents per year. Maine Medical Center, a 606-bed non-profit hospital, is the largest medical center and teaching hospital in northern New England. MMC is the largest source of tertiary care in northern New England serving Portland and beyond. It is a center for health research and education for healthcare professionals.
