Absolutely! Yoga is not just about physical postures (asanas), but also a holistic lifestyle that includes mindfulness, meditation, breathing exercises (pranayama), and ethical principles. It can be integrated into your daily routine and practiced at any time to promote overall well-being and harmony.

We can do yoga at any time that suits your schedule and preferences. It's flexible and can be practiced in the morning, afternoon, or evening, depending on what works best for us.

p.s. Avoid practising asana & pranayama after eating & before sleeping.

Dhanurasana is a Sanskrit word that translates to "Bow Pose". 🏹

Here are the two key points regarding the meaning of Dhanurasana:

🌸 Symbolic representation: The name Dhanurasana is derived from the Sanskrit words "Dhanu" meaning "bow" and "Asana" meaning "pose" or "posture." This yoga pose is named after the shape it resembles, which is a bow drawn back, ready to shoot an arrow. The body in Dhanurasana resembles the string of the bow, and the arms and legs represent the bow's ends.

🌸 Energetic symbolism: In yoga, each asana is believed to have an impact on the flow of energy within the body. Dhanurasana is associated with the activation and stimulation of the Manipura (solar plexus) chakra. The Manipura chakra is located in the navel area and is associated with personal power, will, and transformation. Practicing Dhanurasana is believed to help activate this chakra and enhance feelings of confidence, strength, and inner empowerment.

It's worth noting that in addition to its symbolic and energetic significance, Dhanurasana also offers various physical benefits, including stretching and strengthening the back, shoulders, chest, abdomen, and legs. Regular practice of Dhanurasana can improve posture, enhance flexibility, and promote overall physical and mental well-being.

Shalabhasana, or the “Locust Pose”, is a yoga asana that involves lifting the legs and torso off the ground while lying on the stomach, resembling the posture of a locust.

🌸 This pose primarily targets the muscles in the back of the body, including the glutes, hamstrings, and erector spinae, helping to strengthen and tone these areas.

🌸 Shalabhasana also engages the core muscles, promoting abdominal strength and stability.

🌸 Regular practice of this asana can improve posture, increase flexibility in the spine, and alleviate lower back pain.

🌸 In addition to its physical benefits, Shalabhasana can help calm the mind, relieve stress, and enhance overall body awareness.

🌸 Shalabhasana activates and stimulates the energy centers (chakras) in the body, particularly the Manipura (solar plexus) and Swadhisthana (sacral) chakras. This can lead to an increase in vital energy and a sense of empowerment.

🌸 Through the practice of Shalabhasana, you develop a stronger connection between your mind and body. This heightened awareness can help you cultivate a deeper sense of mindfulness and presence in the present moment.

🌸 Opening the Heart: This pose can help open the heart center, activating the Anahata chakra. As you lift your chest and open your heart space, you may experience a greater sense of love, compassion, and connection with yourself and others.

It's important to note that the spiritual benefits of yoga poses can be subjective and vary from person to person. Exploring the spiritual aspects of yoga is a personal journey, and each individual may experience different effects based on their unique practice and connection to the practice.

Bhujangasana, derived from the Sanskrit words "bhujanga" meaning "cobra" and "asana" meaning "pose". It is a popular yoga asana known as the Cobra Pose.

🌸 Bhujangasana is named after the Cobra due to the resemblance of the raised upper body to a cobra's hood.

🌸 The Cobra Pose represents the strength, flexibility, and vitality of a cobra, and its name reflects this inherent power.

🌸 In Hindu mythology, snakes are often seen as divine creatures, representing transformation, healing, and wisdom.

🌸Bhujangasana is known for its ability to stimulate the energy centers of the body, especially the spinal column, symbolized by the snake's inherent connection to the Kundalini energy.

🌸The name Bhujangasana also highlights the therapeutic aspect of the pose, as cobras are associated with the prevention and treatment of various ailments.

🌸 Bhujangasana enhances our appreciation for the symbolic and spiritual dimensions of this asana, allowing us to deepen our practice and connect with the ancient wisdom behind it.
