Kathy-Ann has always had an interest in fitness, particularly dancing. She has fond memories of practicing dance routines in her parents’ basement as a little girl in her black and white swing skirt. As a child, Kathy-Ann took jazz dance lessons and as an adult she took a little bit of ballroom with her husband. About 3 years ago, Kathy-Ann went to her first Zumba class and was completely hooked! She felt like she was at a dance party rather than a work out class. After being a Zumba participant for about a year, (and driving nearly everyone she knew crazy by constantly talking about how great it was), she found myself signing up for the training to become an instructor. Kathy-Ann teaches Zumba because she wants others to experience the extreme joy and satisfaction you feel after dancing to uplifting music for an hour. She wants others to join her in exercising in a way that makes you want to move more!
